Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 9 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW9 is live! The International break is over and what better way to celebrate it than a Europa derby. That’s right perennial European patsies get us going with a lunch time affair as Klopp makes his debut vs a Spurs side who are lurking right outside their coveted Europa qualifying spot. We follow the Normal One’s debut with six 3pm fixtures. The “Special One” Sherwood takes on Average Jose at Stamford Bridge, we also see future English manager Pardew play host to the Hammers. In other action the Toffees look to continue where Arsenal left off as they play host to the recently exposed Manchester “Milli Vanilli” United. The Cherries look to take advantage of a weakened City at the Ethiad, while Raineri continues to f**k with us all with his team sheets as they visit Southampton and the New Giroud, Graziano Pelle. In the last of the 3pm games Big Sam and his latest chewing gum will look to take advantage of a West Brom side who has been leaking in goals recently. We finish our Saturday off with the Gooners in all their early season glory looking to continue their great domestic run versus Watford before they embarrass themselves in the Champions League again.
On Sunday we have one fixture…sort of. The Canaries visit Newcastle in a game that will mostly be ignored by all, and should be.
Monday sees the end of the game-week when the Swans (winless in last 4) look to get back on track against a Stoke side who, after going winless in their first six, have now won their last two.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Sterling bandwagon anyone? ^o^
Glad I didn’t wildcard – he’d have been out
No!
Sterling hat trick… god dammit….
Frankenstein on minus one. ^o^
Damn it, removed Sterling for KDB and he hits a hat trick![sad](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/sad.gif)
Good.
KDB hattrick incoming.
Anyone know why Pelle isn’t getting an assist for the 2nd Southampton goal?
Van Dijk got the goal, the rest is history![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
We’re very happy for him, but Pelle owners would like to know who headed it off the post and put it on a platter for him!![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
I think Van Dijk hit the post himself before scoring mate, at least that’s what it sounded like from the commentator.
36:08 Goal scored
Goal! Goal! Southampton 2, Leicester City 0. Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) left footed shot from very close range to the top right corner following a corner.
36:07 Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) hits the right post with a right footed shot from very close range following a corner.
36:06 Graziano Pellè (Southampton) hits the right post with a header from the centre of the box.
Just because van Dijk is a gimp and bundled it over the line that shouldn’t penalize the REAL talent that set up the goal with a brilliant header!! My captain needs those 6 points!![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
If that’s the case I demand a van Dijk assist and goal :p
I didn’t see it but if van Dijk scored directly from Pelle hitting the post then it’ll be added later. It’s not a traditional assist so won’t come through whatever stats system they use.
Will count though
…
‘Rebounds
If a shot on goal is blocked by an opposition player, is saved by a goalkeeper or hits the woodwork, and a goal is scored from the rebound, then an assist is awarded.’
