Not looking a great week so far…for football or fantasy points sad

Pippin, how is the weekend going for you so far? Left my highest points score on my bench :/ (being a Pool defender of all people!)

      • Pippin says:

Not well mate, but could be worse. 20 so far, no BPs coming I’d imagine. Kun was captain. Costa, Siggy, Fabregas, Baines, Taylor still to play, but my H2H oppo has all of them except Baines plus Krul and ADM to play… hope for ADM red card?!

        • AT says:

Don’t wish for that!? hahaha 😉
I captained him too, think it is the fifth successive week of having a higher scoring vice!
Got Heaton, Taylor, Baines, Siggy, ADM left to play with 25 points and 3BPS coming for Silva (although took a four point hit too) so not great at all!

and it looks like I’ll need Baines to outscore Krul + ADM to win my Banterbury H2H….

Berahino owners lucked out there. I brought in Sakho for a cheap 3rd striker, I think West Ham looked much stronger going forward today. Both decent buys for the money though.

    Anyone else considering ADM—> Sanchez?

Shrugs, if sideways transfers is the way to go. 😉

      • Raziel says:

More a hype of the day thing. Haven’t seen the Arsenal game but I know Di Maria is class. Know a few months ago everybody was saying Sanchez wasn’t doing well. Anyway, 2 goals won’t convince me to replace a worldclass player like Di Maria.

I am, United have very tough fixtures now.

      • Raziel says:

If you have Di Maria at the moment you’ll have him for the hardest fixture which is Chelsea. If you sell him now you’ll just shoot yourself in the feet. City in the back? Not impressive (as we’ve seen today). Arsenal defending record? Not impressive.

I seriously don’t get why everybody is thinks fixtures matter to players like Falcao/Di Maria. If anything, they shine in these type of fixtures.

        • Raz

I 100% agree with you mate.

One lesson I learned very early in my fantasy playing is that you play the player, not the fixture.

ADM is one of the best players in the world so in my mind, can produce against anyone.

        • Raziel says:

Chelsea will probably win tomorrow, though for the EPL it would be much cooler if they didn’t. Even so, I’m curious if United can score this game. Chelsea usually concede goals against weaker opponents but they’re like a freaking brick wall when they face the classic top 4.

        • Raziel says:

Aaah yes, and I think against these brick walls it’s players like Falcao/Di Maria and in the past RvP (who knows against tomorrow) show their skill with some individual play. I maybe crazy but I’m not counting United out, just yet.

    Raziel says:

Ok peepz, your points? 5 played (including CapCom, I mean CapKun): 24-4-20 points with likely 1 extra bps from Chambers so 21. How did you guys do?

15 off 6 for me! The dream comes to an end! smile

Swansea CS and a Siggy brace would do nicely after such an awful start
