Silva’s goal yesterday was a reminder of how good he is.
It wasnt until they got Dezeko off the field he had room to move (same for Aguero as well)
Like the MOTD analysts were saying yesterday-they need Silva to play in the number 10 role at the expense of Dzeko’s starting position. Hopefully Pellegrini was watching!!
bundeena
I don’t think a reminder was ever needed. He has always been absolutely brilliant. One of the best players the premier league has seen in my opinion.
But I take your point, he isn’t a consistently heavy fantasy point scorer and that’s a huge shame.
GP, potentially could be though if Pellegrini didn’t play Jovetic or Dzeko..
AT
Absolutely. Need to monitor.
What really? I’ve known it all this time, he has shown it every game. He won’t keep scoring though, because that’s not his main objective. He’s fantastic in his role as the playmaker.
So I was just thinking, Siggy has 3 bad fixtures and a dodgy groin, whilst Chadli has nice fixtures.
But deep down that seems wrong. Chadli has slowed as of late and Siggy is better. So then I thought perhaps I should keep Siggy.
Then I saw Barkley’s price. 6.7m. Oh my…
simmo, tricky one. I think I’ll hold onto Siggy as I think he is the best midfielder below £7.0m (dare I say £8m!? ;)). Despite his fixtures he will should still give the odd assist, although his injury is definitely something to monitor.
Tis isn’t it eh. Cheers AT, thing is I have no Everton coverage, but buying Barkley would mean that if Sterling dropped again I couldn’t get Walcott next week.
Will definitely monitor things.
See how Chadli does today against Newcastle James. His stats are pretty impressive as regards shots in the box etc.As for Siggy his stats are poor of late. Before yesterday he’d only had 2 shots in the previous 4 or 5 games. He was on my dump list before his injury. But so is Sterling and and i only have 1 F.T with zip in the bank.Thinking about taking a hit this week.
Will do brooky. Chadli and Barkley on the watch list.
Sterling has Newcastle and Walcott will probably start on the bench vs Burnley. So that’ll be my move for next week I reckon.
Brooky,
Stats do not do Siggy justice at all. In the last 2 games, he has had 2 odds on chances to score and, somehow, has failed to register the shot from those positions on both occasions. He has also scored twice for Iceland over the last few weeks.
However, he is more of a playmaker than a goalscorer and has created 4-5 big opportunities over the last 2 weeks, only 1 of which has been put in the back of the net.
He is laying better than his current stats show.
Mr Bean, would agree there but don’t you think Siggy’s fixtures warrant + injury warrant a short term replacement?
Or do you think he could get fit and do the business against Everton and Arsenal etc?
To be fair 3 assists in 6 games against opposition that included Sunderland Leicester Newcastle and Stoke combined with his upcoming fixtures are all the stats i need despite his low price tag.Lots of choice in the midfield department this season.
Season could be about to get worse as The Sun and Mail reporting and wanting Aguero to face disciplinary after alleged stamp yesterday.
Haven’t seen it so not sure if they’re just looking for a story.
Shads, why you reading that scum newspaper ‘the sun’ ?
Good point.
Probably just trying to stir things up ahead of the Derby.
I saw the tackle on Noble in question, it was bad (studs up) however, for me it was just mis-timed so think disciplinary action would be harsh.
Miss timed my ass. Was on purpose even, dude was super annoyed. I have him but a ban would be in order here.
Raz I’m worried about you – how’s the leg? You sure it’s not a lion you have in the house?
Hahaha Cookie, the leg is ok. Only problem is that the medication made me really sick, haha. FFS, so sick that I can’t take it anymore and I’m in bed right now. F-ing day going to waste, sighs. If I stand liquids start floating out of my behind. HAHAHA. Ok, that’s not funny but I think my brain might have been effected since I’m dehydrated. HAHAHA.
And I saw the Kun stomp yesterday. If it was ummm Joey Barton that would’ve done that he would’ve gotten the dead sentence, Kun is the teachers pet though. Can’t do wrong even when he is in the wrong. Just like Messi.
Just read that Shadow – ban him for the derby!!
Yeah it was a bad one with his studs showing but it wasnt like it was 2 footed or he left the ground with malicious intent.I think the F.A should let it go.(Nothing to do with me wanting to captain him !)
What do you think should be my number one priority?
New GK (have Heaton and potential bench warmer Mannone)
Replace Moreno (despite the CS)
Bring in some Chelsea coverage (Hazard for Sterling)
With QPR I think Chelsea is key, would need to do Moreno-Hutton for the move to work (four point hit)
Redo the picture with next weeks fixtures please?
Easier to think when the opponents are up to date…
Sterling to Hazard sounds like a good move AT !
Hello Guys
Need suggestions here…
My Team
Gk Lloris (Jakupovic)
DF Baines, Clyne, Wisdom (Duff, Hutton)
MF DiMaria, Sánchez, Chadli, Tadic, (Downing plan for out)
FW Agüero, Sakho, (Falcao plan for out)
3-4-3 or 3-5-2 will be use…
ITB have £15.3 if i move out Falcao & Downing…
The question is i didn’t know who should replace them…Wanna get Chelsea player for the next match…if i get Hazard..who will be the Striker £5.4…if i get Costa..who will be the MF £4.4….i also didn’t have any Liverpool player…how do you think with Liverpool & Sturridge?
Hope you can give some idea or suggestions for me..
Thanks
fcsh, assuming Costa comes through today in one piece I would say he is your absolute priority for next week.
Inittowinit
Yeah…i think so…just a bit confuse to which player should be potential with the price £4.4?
Cork, Obertan, Boyd etc….?
fcsh,
Assuming you have 0.0 in the bank at the moment:
Falcao -> Costa will cost you 0.1 mil to bring him in.
This means that you have Downing selling price (assume its 5.5 mil) – 0.1 mil = 5.4 mil to spend on a replacement midfielder.
You have more money than you think!
Mr Bean this is that amount show up in my bank when i remove out Falcao and Downing…
I’m obviously not thinking straight here…
Haha…is ok mate…i think i will get Costa and try to make others cheaper MF to fill my place there..
anyway thanks for your comments..and also good luck to you in next GW…
cheers
Morning chicken, arn’t you on that plane yet ?
Falcao and Downing out would give you more than £15.3 in the bank?
Mr Bean
yeah…if Falcao & Downing out for next week…my bank still have £15.3…
just didn’t know how to make this decision with this…
plan not change anything but thinking with chelsea player would be more comfortable against QPR next week…that’s why i need to change…
fcsh,
Read above as well but:
Falcao + Downing at minimum selling prices is 10.8 + 5.5 = £16.3 mil?
I didn’t know how to calculate with this…if following with your formula..i think i get what u mean and i also agree with but…..
Diego Costa set to start for Chelsea…I don’t have him as captain but i hope he bangs in a few to punish the 20.6% of the top 10k who sold him 😉
