Silva’s goal yesterday was a reminder of how good he is.

It wasnt until they got Dezeko off the field he had room to move (same for Aguero as well)

So I was just thinking, Siggy has 3 bad fixtures and a dodgy groin, whilst Chadli has nice fixtures.

But deep down that seems wrong. Chadli has slowed as of late and Siggy is better. So then I thought perhaps I should keep Siggy.

    Then I saw Barkley’s price. 6.7m. Oh my…

simmo, tricky one. I think I’ll hold onto Siggy as I think he is the best midfielder below £7.0m (dare I say £8m!? ;)). Despite his fixtures he will should still give the odd assist, although his injury is definitely something to monitor.

Tis isn’t it eh. Cheers AT, thing is I have no Everton coverage, but buying Barkley would mean that if Sterling dropped again I couldn’t get Walcott next week.

        Will definitely monitor things.

See how Chadli does today against Newcastle James. His stats are pretty impressive as regards shots in the box etc.As for Siggy his stats are poor of late. Before yesterday he’d only had 2 shots in the previous 4 or 5 games. He was on my dump list before his injury. But so is Sterling and and i only have 1 F.T with zip in the bank.Thinking about taking a hit this week.

Will do brooky. Chadli and Barkley on the watch list.

Sterling has Newcastle and Walcott will probably start on the bench vs Burnley. So that’ll be my move for next week I reckon.

      • Mr Bean says:

        Brooky,

Stats do not do Siggy justice at all. In the last 2 games, he has had 2 odds on chances to score and, somehow, has failed to register the shot from those positions on both occasions. He has also scored twice for Iceland over the last few weeks.

However, he is more of a playmaker than a goalscorer and has created 4-5 big opportunities over the last 2 weeks, only 1 of which has been put in the back of the net.

He is laying better than his current stats show.

        • jamesimmo says:

Mr Bean, would agree there but don’t you think Siggy’s fixtures warrant + injury warrant a short term replacement?

Or do you think he could get fit and do the business against Everton and Arsenal etc?

        • Brookyboy says:

To be fair 3 assists in 6 games against opposition that included Sunderland Leicester Newcastle and Stoke combined with his upcoming fixtures are all the stats i need despite his low price tag.Lots of choice in the midfield department this season.

Season could be about to get worse as The Sun and Mail reporting and wanting Aguero to face disciplinary after alleged stamp yesterday.

Haven’t seen it so not sure if they’re just looking for a story.

    AT says:

What do you think should be my number one priority?
New GK (have Heaton and potential bench warmer Mannone)
    Replace Moreno (despite the CS)
Bring in some Chelsea coverage (Hazard for Sterling)

With QPR I think Chelsea is key, would need to do Moreno-Hutton for the move to work (four point hit)

    Hello Guys

    Need suggestions here…

    My Team
    Gk Lloris (Jakupovic)
DF Baines, Clyne, Wisdom (Duff, Hutton)
MF DiMaria, Sánchez, Chadli, Tadic, (Downing plan for out)
FW Agüero, Sakho, (Falcao plan for out)
    3-4-3 or 3-5-2 will be use…

ITB have £15.3 if i move out Falcao & Downing…

The question is i didn’t know who should replace them…Wanna get Chelsea player for the next match…if i get Hazard..who will be the Striker £5.4…if i get Costa..who will be the MF £4.4….i also didn’t have any Liverpool player…how do you think with Liverpool & Sturridge?

Hope you can give some idea or suggestions for me..

    Thanks

Diego Costa set to start for Chelsea…I don’t have him as captain but i hope he bangs in a few to punish the 20.6% of the top 10k who sold him 😉
