What’s the crack with Costa then, is he now expected to play today?

Still can’t believe I kept Falcao over him and now he’s the major doubt!

Has to be said, I hate my midfield.

Lol @ Mourinho starting Costa despite injury troubles. If the player breaks during the match and is out for more than a month Mou is doomed. He attacked Spain and the Spanish coach but look what risk he’s taking. Coming out of the hospital (unfit) Diego Costa. He must really fear United if he lets dude play in a match like this. Unsure why. I bet Falcao is fitter but won’t play. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. AAah well, it’s better for Falcao in the long run. For me this is just a game.. I like the kid and want him to do well.

Costa can rapture his anus. laugh (or is it rupture?)

Costa has been ‘injured’ since mid last season. The only time I watched him actually seem injured was the CL final.

How much of a nightmare must it be for opposing managers not to have the foggiest if Costa will play against them? Mourinho knows exactly what he’s doing.

      • Raziel says:

Costa hasn’t been fit since may last year. He played an important match for Atletico against Barca and was subbed after 9 minutes. Mourinho said he had hamstring/knee problems and on when he came back out of SPain. Plus he’s been hospitalized after returning with a bad stomach bug. All lies?

I think Mourinho knows what he’s doing but like Atlerico versus Barca last may he’s taking a risk with Costa. Just like Portugal have been taking a risk with Ronaldo by playing him this WC.

      Yeaaah it’s rupture laugh

On a footballing level I think Mourinho is stupid and hypocritical to chance Costa as you say.

On a fantasy level I don’t mind either way. Either Costa plays and potentially scores big or he doesn’t play and I get Zamora (usually an awful scenario) but I have a gut feeling that says he’ll do well against Villa. What I don’t want is a sub appearance.

      • Raziel says:

Taking Costa out for the week wasn’t even a bad move but Falcao getting a sudden weird injury makes it a bad move. That was unexpected though. I think LvG takes better care of his players so could e a fitter Falcao won’t be playing and a unfit Costa willl. Aararghhhhhhhhhhh. Throws away the laptop. Latersssssssssssssssssss.

      • Brookyboy says:

Why not he’s quite capable of grabbing a goal even from the bench against that dodgy defence !! smile I actually cant wait for todays game, think its gonna be a corker !!

Hey guys, hope you are having a decent weekend? My defence has got me above average so far. I was wondering what any of you think I should do going forward?

I have 2 possible moves in mind.

Fab > Haz (and maybe siggy to someone who isnt injured if needed awaiting news on that)

or something a little audacious and differential in transferring out Sterling to a newly recovered and gamble on Walcott at home to Burnley?

Or something else if you have any suggestions? I am playing catch up which is why i am thinking about these moves

Afternoon all! Considering playing my wildcard this week, so I can get Costa and Sanchez, and make my defence/keeper better. What do you guys think? Possible moves: Welbeck>>Costa, Sterling>>Sanchez, Sigurdsson >> Chadli, ADM>>Diame (someone has to make way), Shawcross>>Taylor, Chester/Baird/Krul/Mannone >> Others…
    My current team:
