Guys, would you wildcard with this lot? Just got a lot of little injuries and players I’ve wanted to shift, and now with Ivanovic suspension it feels it could be a good time before prices change.

    Current:
    Mannone/Krul
    Clyne/Ivanovic/O’Shea/Dier/Wasilewski
    Sterling/Wanyama/Fabregas/Sigurdsson/Ki
    Costa/Pelle/Aguero

    Possible WC:
    Mannone/Krul
    Clyne/Jagielka/Dumett/Bertrand/Wisdom
    Sterling/Sanchez/Fabregas/Walcoot/Colback
    Naismith/Pelle/Aguero

0.1m left over at current prices, and I can get Costa back in two transfers as and when he’s fit (Naismith -> Costa, downgrade a premium mid).

Not sure if I’d WC with your current team or not but I definitely don’t like your WC team.

      Mannone could be dropped
Dummett could be dropped (Santon back soon)
Clyne & Bertrand is a very short term move
Too early for Walcott, wouldn’t double up with Sanchez
I’d also shift Sterling for Di Maria
Colback is unnecessarily expensive for a bench mid (get Boyd)
Naismith may be rotated with Barkley back and Eto’o looking sharp

Ivanovic isn’t suspended by the way. It’s league cup week this week so he’ll miss out on that.

Hmm, I didn’t realise about Ivanovic. Maybe leave it til later in the week then. If I wildcarded and then Costa turned out to be fine then it’d be pretty annoying. I definitely want to shift a few players – O’Shea, Ki, Dier, but would like to hang on to the WC for as long as possible.

Cheers for the thoughts on player specifics as well.

no need of a wildcard at all.
just downgrade dier and o’shea and invest that money in your midfield.

    Sakho injury update

A well placed Boleyn source said: “The X-rays show no breaks or dislocations and the view is there’s likely to be ligament damage.

We’ll have a closer look tomorrow but Stoke looks unlikely for him and Villa looks set to become the target.”

Leicester coach is an idiot. Albrighton was awesome for them last week, everybody called the coach crazy for taking him off after 58 minutes and yesterday he wasn’t even on the bench. Just crazy.

Raz – must be something we dont know about Albrighton. Was very surprised Villa let him go. ALways looked decent when played and now cant get into Leicester squad, not to mind team. Doesnt make sense.

    Do these transfers sound viable,
    Sterling & Taylor
    IN for
    Downing & Baines?

    EBC says:

So…more relaxed than I was earlier. Edging away from the wildcard button smile

What would you do with this? Any help is appreciated.

1FT, 3.5 itb (need to keep some to fund Sterling to Di Maria at some point)
