Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1

And we are off!! Another season of bitter FPL disappointment for most gets rolling when Leicester travels to Old Trafford to take on Jose’s happy warriors. That Friday night fixture is followed by six more on Saturday.

A lunch time affair sees Newcastle and Spurs face off in the battle of who spent the least this transfer window. That is followed by The Cherries vs newcomers Cardiff. Fulham who is also recently promoted, tangle with Palace, Huddersfield plays host to Sarri-ball, Watford dukes it out with Brighton and in the late game we get a first look at the much talked about Wolves side when they face off vs Everton.

Sunday brings us the last three fixtures. Liverpool begin what promises to be an exciting season that is likely to end the same as most, not good enough to win anything. They will take on a new look Hammers team, that 1:30 game is accompanied by a match only a mother could love when Saints take on Burnley. The gameweek is closed out by the best game on paper. When the champions travel to the Emirates to clash with the Wenger-less Gunners.

FPL started and Gw1 is almost over….Time flies. I have my best predictions in Barry & Paul league to start with……. 9 correct including 5 perfect….don’t think I can match this again.

I planned to do Firmino > Lacaz in GW3 and start firing, but Emery put a bucket of water in that.

Who is the best 5-5.5m mid (other than Neves) as per GW1?

      Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth) ^^

      EBC says:

Ryan Fraser: 5.5m, fixtures are a mixed bag. Scored in GW1 and normally pretty attacking. He’s firmly on my watchlist

James Milner: 5.5m, chips in with the odd goal and/or assist. May even take the occasional pen. Rotation risk and probably not worth using a Liverpool space for him.

Joe Ralls: 5.0m, next 2 fixtures and good but then really bad. Seemingly on pens and dead balls (which I why I went for him) but on reflection I’m not convinced he’s a good pick. Will keep him for next week.

Aaron Lennon: 5.0m, bit of an out there pick. Attacking player in a defensive team. Rotation risk given Burnley have Europe but fixtures are good so may be worth a punt.

Ruben Neves, 5.0m. Great start with a goal and assist and looks a threat. Fixtures are getting tougher though so not worth brining him in yet imo.

My view above – I’ll need someone in that bracket from GW4 onwards but will hold off for now.

I need an ARS player from Gw3…trying to check if I can fit Auba..to do that I have to downgrade Jota/Bernardo Silva……..so far bit confused about B’Silva’s position against ARS…I can see more Sterling/Mahrez/Aguero in attack.

how does it work with the site team transfers. Might there be early transfers to beat transfers and if so how would it be updated on here? as a new article?

Our def. remained standstill and no match in pace with any of the City attackers/fullback…….Sterling goal, Mendy assist….after Bissaka, Mendy is also on my bench.
