Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 1. And welcome back indeed, welcome to the start of yet another long season, welcome to another 38 weeks of joy, despair, trials, tribulations and challenges. We hope that you will once again enjoy joining us as we go through all the emotions together, share our thoughts and experiences, rejoice when our players score points, commiserate when they don’t, cry when they come off after 59 minutes and laugh when they concede in the last minute. Or something to that effect anyway.
GW1 sees us kick off with a Friday night game as the Champions of Europe host newly promoted Norwich at home. Doesn’t quite seem fair that does it, somehow? It’ll probably see plenty of Salah captainers get their first taste of the armband for the season anyway.
Champions Man City then get the first Saturday of the season going as they visit West Ham in the early kick off at 12.30pm.
In perhaps a sign of things to come our 3pm games are not only few but are also littered with the already seemingly cast aside ‘less interesting’ teams. Apologies to Bournemouth & Sheffield United, Burnley & Southampton, Palace & Everton and Watford & Brighton but that’s how it seems.
Champions League runners up Spurs host newly promoted Villa at home in the late KO at 5.30pm. Doesn’t quite seem fair that does it, somehow? It’ll probably see plenty of Kane captainers get their first taste of the armband for the season anyway….
Leicester and Wolves begin (share) our first Sunday with an intriguing encounter at 2pm, while Newcastle fans will be protesting against Arsenal at the same time. Well ok, not protesting Arsenal, protesting Ashley, but you know what we mean…
A clash of the old titans sees GW1 out as Chelsea visit Old Trafford at 4pm.

What a mad start to the season! as a Salah,Sterling & Kane owner I didn’t expect 6 goals from the off. Hopeful for a few more points from Perez, Jota and Barkley today, might even break 100

I managed to find a minute at the eleventh hour and did a quick team on Friday afternoon. On 87 with Jota, Perez and Barkley to go. Surprised of myself tbh 😯

Wow that’s a respectable score! I haven’t checked mine yet, I’m afraid, but I got Salah and Sterling and a royal flush of clean sheets so think I’m up there doing alright…

I have a question about the ff league that I joined.
I was put into division.
All but 3 teams have sterling.
I has really bad players (not mine)
the other team it won’t even let me access.

You should be able to. As Wanton says it will after gw 1 is over. I think theres still a few hiccups to sort out. You can’t go on the highest scorer just yet.
I guess you’ll get access to all teams when GW1 has finished.

Hammer, as Kop says the FF247 Admin team will lose every week. It just there so i can oversee things. Put plainly, boot people out.
You’ll find that the really poor team is put there by FF247 admin just so they can reference the league. The second worst one is yours :rofl:

As far as I remember someone created this league for the old gang from the disintegrated FF1st site. I just found out that I am in as it has renewed automatically. To be honest, I can’t remember who did it but will try to find out. Maybe VaDan, Goalmachine, Terminators or Chipster know more :no:

Yeah pretty happy. Everyone on here is complaining about not hitting 100! I think we’re set up well for the next couple of weeks; don’t think i’ll be making any changes for the next GW.
