Did Cantwell start & get subbed or did he start on the bench?
He started and had a shocker by the sounds of it
He’s possibly this weeks transfer so. I had earmarked CHO as his replacement but I’m not so sure after yesterday.
Yeah I still think he will be good but there will be some rotation there
Heard he had one clean shot on goal aand he missed it.
Salah injury anything serious?
Here
Thinking of a bit of a sideways move.
Salah to Mane
Otamendi to Mendy
Hope for a Salah price drop then and will have enough money to bring him back in. Would be 0.1 short if he didn’t drop.
Tomori? Decent games ahead.
That’s an option as well mate. Could be a bit of Chelsea overkill but still. Considering a united defender either. Crazy I know 😆
Soyuncu or Tomori. Cancelo’s stats are a lot better than Mendy. I’m not convinced City will get too many clean sheets with fixtures coming up
Cheers Smash. That makes sense alright looking at city’s fixtures. United’s fixtures are decent but couldn’t be overly confident bringing any of them in.
Spot on Smash. Liverpool and Chelsea in next 3 GWs. Notna good time to bring in a City defender.
Cheers lads. Yeah I’m convinced now I won’t be bringing in Mendy 😆
Hi everyone – I finished off with 77, which is 33 up on last week, so that’s good! In a week of symmetry, my 3 Leicester boys got me 34 points, so that means the total of all the others was 43 – mirror image scores.
Was rather disappointed with my Sunday players, Jiminez, TAA & Mané, who netted a total of 8 points, which according to their potential is an underachievement. Anyway, that’s all – I’m also lumbered with 2 FTs and 0.2 ITB, and was wondering what I should do tradeswise. Will probably get rid of Traoré (was warned that he is a bit of a flash in the pan, but was the only reasonable 5 m mid-fielder after Kanté got injured) for maybe McTominay or little Mattie Longstaff or someone; AND was thinking of downgrading Maddie for Perez, saving around 1.1m and getting an in-form, out of place 2nd striker. But anyway, if y’all don’t read this, I understand, as it’s Sunday night, and you’ve probably got better things to do!
ALSO a big shout out to the Newcastle road trip boys (GP, Innit & I’ve forgotten who else – but Cookster and Kop deserved to have been there too to give their livers a bit of a thrashing!
Bye bye everyone – hope next weekend is fruitful – looks like City, Liverpool and Chelsea might be the ‘go to’ teams, with Leicester a possibility too, but up against a tough Palace lot (whose away jersey looked really good I thought!).
That’s all for the ramblings people! , AJW!
Stopped reading at 77
Sorry mate! Bit long-winded!
Don’t say sorry. He’s envious of your score. Hehe. :hippo:
It is a long read though. :superman:
Ah Raz, I can’t stop myself from talking! Yeah a good week that makes up for all the mid 30’s I’ve had. There’s no need to be jealous! Next week is another story!
Hehe, I read through your story but I had a score of 79. B stopped reading after you said 77…. 😉
Ofcourse nobody is jealous, just good banter.
And I enjoy reading through your stuff, so keep staying true to yourself.
Don’t worry Rosco, didn’t forget you from the Newcastle mob, but obviously you were part of the home team, so that just goes without saying! Hope heads and bodies are okay! Is there a hangover emoji? :punish:
Haha I figured mate and you give me a nice shout yesterday! All is well from a non FPL perspective which is a surprise given the amount of beer consumed!
Hope you had a few good ones! Have a nice rest now!
Great post AJW!
I’m on my last train of today. Should be home by 10pm. Fantastic time had with the boys.
Great score pal, congratulations!
If it’s a straight swap then Jorginho with his penalties is probably best. I however would upgrade that spot if you could.
Amazing GP! After that weekend and being on the last train back north, you’re still coherent for a bit of FPL advice! You’re heavy duty mate! Good on you! Thanks for the advice. What about Maddie down to Perez, then upgrade little Traore? I dunno – it’s Sunday night, but it’s good not to have that panic reflex pushing me into silly moves, but rather a bit of time to consider it all. Good luck and all – your train will be pulling in soon. Back to normality! 😯
The Perez score on Friday is definitely the outlier for him.
I’m not convinced yet that he’s going to be a consistent point scorer.
@AJW, that’s a great score. All the best for next week..
Thanks Constantine. But I think I read that you did pretty well this week too. Good work and have a fruitful week!
I’m just surprised we’re all still alive!
Any West Ham team news yet?
Here’s one thing I don’t understand.
If Boly has a broken ankle, why is there no sign of his price dropping soon?
Low ownership. Less people worried about him. Hence less people actually transferring him out? I dont know. I dont get this price change mechanism really. Dont pay much attention to it either.
Possibly – maybe they’re thinking “bench him, there are more pressing problems”
From the rules.
Ah ok, thanks.
I brought him in last week! When it rains it pours for me at the minute!
:girl_pinkglassesf:
Hi all. Had a shocker of a week and ended up with 46. I have 2 FTS and 0.1 and need to sort it out fast as I’m dropping down my leagues fast! I’m thinking Wilson to a cheap striker and upgrading pukki to Vardy. What do you think people?
Fairly sure that’s what I’m going to do. Vardy and Connolly in for Pukki and Wilson. This with a loose plan to go 3-5-2 the following week potentially.
Just so annoyed that KDB lost the goal so that cost me. Need to make moves quick time!!
Me too mate, 41 for me and an 800k rank drop in the last 3 weeks. Think your moves sound good, go for Connolly as he has a good fixture this week and then you can use the money the week after to switch Cantwell to a 6 mil ish mid and go 352
It was painful Rosco. I’m losing my marbles. Seen some people jump in front me with really random selections and killing it.
Scored 47 myself so rather uninspiring but on we go.
Got 2FT and I’m changing two strikers myself probably – bringing in Vardy so long as I’ve nothing else to deal Roth by next weekend.
Like those moves for you.
Just had a tinker. KDB, Pukki and Wilson to Maddison, Vardy and Rashford…..have the right money too! Risky….but could pay off
Not keen on selling KDB and bringing in Rashford personally.
Taking KDB out ahead of Southampton, potentially at their lowest, is the dictionary definition of “risky”. 😯
I hear you guys. I’ll be sensible……
Any advice please?
I want to A) stop my rubbish points haul and B) thinking its Vardy time.
2FT and 1.4m itb.
Either Kun or Auba out for Vardy and Martial in for Douglas?
Which?
Else, any other ideas?
Auba to Vardy. I’d leave Kun be just in case he plays.
