I feel a bit smug doing a hit to bring in Vardy at the last minute 😎

I have a thought for Saints fans, namely Zed.
I knew they were bad, but oh my…

Cheers mate! It’s that bad… Looks like it’s going to be relegation (well what we deserve at this point anyway)… It’s been so good so long, all good things come to an end! Fear the worst and hope for….. well….. a miracle!

      • Zed, I can’t help thinking about our little dispute being going on for the last few years, the TC chip particularly. I doubt anyone has gone for this at that stage but it shows if you shoot at the right time at the right place it can pay off, rather waiting for those cliche double GWs :wink2:

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Of course it WILL pay off if you play it at the right time at the right place, that’s, that’s a tautology! The problem is the risk it involves, a lot like stock picking, high risk and high reward usually go hand in hand, playing it in a DGW usually means less risk but the reward could easily be as handsome!

You might get a huge Vardy 3+1 haul with a TC early on, and you might also get a blank, a lot like in a DGW as well…

I fully agree with Zed here.

Sure, granted, playing your TC in SGWs can pay off. Sure, granted, playing your TC in DGWs can backfire twice. However, ultimately, FPL is a game that revolves around statistics and probability; DGWs merely give you two figurative ‘rolls of the die’ that can maximise your chances of getting points.
