Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. Here we go, another week of FPL is set to go. This game-week kicks off with a lunch time fixture as a match-up of who will be the second best team in the EPL takes place when United welcome in Kane and his staff. That is followed by five 3pm games. The born again, dead again, born again Arsenal spank the Swans back to Wales, Palace and West Ham provide the comedy in their fixture assuming we all are still in need of any further laughter after watching Lovren and Mignolet last week. Speaking of which, Lolverpool mix it up with Huddersfield in what could turn ugly if LFC get down, let’s hope they do. Watford and the incredible acrobatic diving Richarlison look to recover their form when they face off vs Stoke and City travel to the Hawthorns and set fire to the place. Sunday brings us two fixtures, Brighton and their wonderful Colombian 😉 Izquierdo look for 3 more points against Southampton and the day closes with the battle of the new ‘managers’ as hard to watch Leicester bores us against harder to watch Everton. Monday arrives with the last fixture of the GW which pits Burnley versus Newcastle who are led by two managers who would both happily take a point and a 0-0 draw.

  1. Another bad GW…it’s getting on my nerves…this is the worst run for me in the last free years..:/
Don’t know whether to gamble and take hits after hits or have patience and hold my game and it might improve…:/
How well did you guys do this gw?

    • Chill mate, it’ll come together

    • charanaj

I got 55 with two to go but I was lucky with my VC.

The sunshine is always brighter after the rain and all that.

‘Hitting’ your way out of it is very rarely a success.

      • I am on 50 with 2 left. Mee and Elliot so I am hoping for a nice boring 0-0 game smile

      • Yea..I know that hitting is not the solution…let’s hope that it turns around soon for everyone…smile

    • Charanraj,
I am here to reassure you. I am on 20 points with 2 to play! Got from 200k to 600k.
And I’ll try to go with the patience version! If I look back and think that my choices were arguable (here: Jesus captain, 3 city Silva-Ottamendi-Jesus, hold on Kane for this week…), I try not to panic.
But it is easier if that does not happen for too many weeks in a row!

      • Yea..same with me..3 city. Silva Sterling and got in otamendi for Jones…I should have stuck with Jones…:/
Now thinking to dump one from city as their starting line isn’t fixed at all…let’s hope this doesn’t happen every week

  2. Burnley v Newcastle

  3. Evening all

I’m thinking of doing the following moves if I don’t any problems with the midweek games and Kane is passed fit:

Lacazette and silva to Kane and grob

Would leave me 3.3 ITB to finally get rid of chichartio to maybe morata the following GW.

    Thoughts?

    • Won’t be getting morata 0.1 short unless chichartio goes up

    • I like the look of the front 7 after those moves, but aren’t you slightly concerned with your defense? If Kolasinac or Trippier don’t play you’re screwed.

  4. Out of interest, is anyone actually hoping for a goal in the Bur v New match or is everyone banking on some CS points like me to save their GW?

    • I’m hoping for a Newcastle/Elliott clean sheet, but I wouldn’t mind Burnley conceding… Only as some of my rivals have Burnley defenders though 😉

    • I’m hoping it ends as 0-0 since I have Elliot and Ward playing.

    • I have 3 defenders playing. I’m getting twitchy anytime anyone makes a forward pass. Which isn’t very often to be fair smile

    • Newcastle clean sheet gone!

  5. Bloody L. So if returd Kane didn’t injure himself. I would have had Ward for Burnley and replaced Mkhi with Salah. Aah well. Terrible gameweek turned into semi-terrible. I will end up with 39-4. Could have been much worse.

    • Feels better now I notice that direct rivals have Jones, Gross and Mee on the bench. HAHAHAHA!

      • Bloody hell. That’s lucky. Mine splurged his BB on a 7 pointer. Looks like I’ll be finishing 1 point behind him for the week too so I’ll take that all day long.
