Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.

Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.

Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.

The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.

The games in full…

  1. Sterling is killing it again.

    • damn.// he sure is. i am glad no 1 has him in my office ML.

      • Wish I could bring him in…would take a 12ph lol…unless I got rid of Haz.

        • hmm.. you still need to fix your FF247 profile link. you directly copied mine when I said you have your own personal one when you select gameweek history. are you unable to find that bees?

      • Please could you check and see if it is available now?

  2. CHE are only up 1 goal…hopefully Haz will come on soon.

  3. Two weeks ago, after agonising all week,i decided to take Mane out, when he broke his thumb, for Sterling as i thought Mane wouldnt play and that at that time City had more goals in them and Burnley at home would be a goals fest.
Mane didnt play,Burnley at home for City was a goals fes but Sterling was rested ! Fast forward a week Liverpool have Cardiff at home,Salah seems to have sprung to life and seems essential and Hazard has a back niggle.I again agonize whether to swap Hazard or Sterling to Salah.I read a Chelsea source on twitter say that Hazard will be fit for Burnley away.Ok i decide,a rotation free Hazard who has Burnley away Palace at home and no europe is better than a roration risk that does have Europe so i swap Sterling back out for Salah.Hazard doesnt even make the squad and i end up only playing only 10 men.Fast forward another week Sterling has scored 27 points while Hazard hasnt played a minute yet. :big-lol:

  4. Sigh I did sterling to Maddison

    • Makes me feel better ! smile

      • Lol!! Is sterling a must have right now. He seems to be starting and lasting entire 90 mins unless he has a mid week game

        • He has a midweek game this week ! I guess if you just set and forget him and are prepared for occasional rotation.City certainly seem to have the most goals in them. The conundrum is fitting Sterling Aguero Mane Hazard and Salah in your team !

  5. Anybody else with Sterling as capo this week? :bouncy-balls:

    • Oh man…are you the lucky one…good going mate!

      • Thanks bees smile
Although it’s more by luck than judgment. I only transferred Sterling in because KDB got crocked midweek. That bit of bad luck has turned out to be my best bit of good luck in fantasy so far this season (especially as I brought Arnie in as well). Best 2FTs I’ve ever had 🙂

  6. So what we thinking now on Sterling? Find a way to get him or just one of those weeks? Wud mean me selling Mendy for a hit to facilitate
