Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.
Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.
Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.
The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
Hey there everyone – I seem to be suffering a case of the ‘number twos’ (not rhyming slang!!!) – I’ve got 6 players on 2 points this week! Plus Kun on 22! Not much of a score though and will get red arrows. Luckily I listened to the programme about Stoicism on BBC World before their Football commentary kicked in – helped me cope with a bland GW! I.e. change what you are capable of changing & anything you can’t influence, just think ‘oh well, ’tweren’t for me’! I know this doesn’t help, but I found it interesting!
Also, I love the BBC commentator with the smooth, rich Irish (I think! I’m no Henry Higgins!) accent. He’s great – anyone got an idea on who he is? See y’all round and I hope you’ll do better next GW! And congrats to the bloke who announced he had Raheem as captain! Sorry, I forgot who it was!
Oh, it’s Chipster! Good on you Chips! Very well chosen indeed!
Haha, thanks very much AJW.
Sorry to hear your GW wasn’t such a success.
Remember, you’ve got 4pts extra to go on for Kun (which is good), although it will break up your “twos” pattern 🙂
So I guess the Barkley bandwagon is over. Kovacic might even start next game
yeah true. no difference on transferring out fraser to him. both ended up on same points
Not sure I’m a massive fan of either options. I’m stuck with Fraser though
No worries as its only early days. I am building a team that will serve me well in the future with the majority of players having easy fixtures. Strong defence that did not deliver a clean sheet this week but provided 2 assists. Crap midfield with only Hazards cameo providing an assist. Arnie did the business and if he stays injury free he is a keeper with games through to 32 with 4 tough games in between.F Anderson & Lamela interest me as well.
68 after bonuses with Mitrovic to go!
Just need to work out how do get Arnie in my team for GW12
76 with Lossl to go
64 after bonuses with Mitro to go. Could do with him doing the business. Already made my transfers as well
62 with mitro to go.
74 (-4) and feel slightly disappointed…
still a great score. guess sterling got to you huh brooky
Does it show….??
it does 😉
Holebas to Balbuena Mitro to Arnie ! 😉
That works! Would have to do the move tonight though as Arnie is going up
Balbuena only 4.3m should leave you plenty of wriggle room ? No ?
Just the exact funds to do the move
Holebas to Balbuena leaves you .5m How much you selling Mitro for ? Even if Arnie goes up .1m he still only 7.1 ?
He’s 4.4 now
Ahh ok Zab and Diop are only 4.3m if you want to hold off ?
73 with Schürrle left
Happy with 71 inc bonuses with Mitro to go!
75 all out for me this week! Could have been more, but I guess I should be happy with that!
On 73 see above. If Schürrle only gets the 2 points I’d be happy with 75. I’d like him to score to break 80
I sold Mitrovic before this GW so I think he will score 😉
81 with Mitrovic to go!
Probably my second green arrow of the whole season!
63 with Mitrovic. Looks like a bunch of us clumped up about the same.
71 with Schurrle to go. 2FT and a lot to ponder going into gw12.
Wow, for the first time this season I’m absolutely delighted with my score! 80 with Mitrovic still to play, so will probably finish on 81
Means my overall rank has jumped from 1.8m to 1.1m so far!
Well done Swirly ! Keep plugging away ! No offence but i hope Mitro finishes on -1
+1 (I just sold Mitrovic) 😆
Haha, you have very good reason for that!
Great score swirly. I see a win for Fulham, let’s just hope they score a few goals
Great news Swirly, well done mate – well deserved.
great 1 swirly. Keep it going mate.
Cheers guys, much appreciated
Excellent work, mate. Hopefully the start of a change in the tide for you!
Cheers, bud. Fingers crossed!
Well played. Well overdue as well.
Totally deserved Swirls.
Selfless lad who produces excellent articles.
I may be biased.
Nice one Swirly. Still plenty of time to climb those ranks.
I have such a bad feeling that Salah will be ineffectual next week and Mane will get all the points. Maybe I am suffering from PTDS from this week’s games and worrying for nothing.
PTSD
lets wait for the midweek first bees. alot can change.
