Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.
Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.
Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.
The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
I should have trusted myself and get Felipe Anderson. All the next fixtures up to January apart from GW 13 are too good to miss.
29 from 3 (Frasier, Rich and Arnie) if bps stay as they are. Not the worst start ever. I suppose many will be in similar positions with many high owned players delivering. How’s everyone faring?
Followed by 4 two pointers from the evening games, leaving me on 37 with 4 to go. Seems very averish unless that man Schurrle decides to pop in a few goals past Huddersfield!
Last game week I had to let go either Richarlison or Maddison to make way for Salah. I thought it was 50/50, and I kept Maddison.
This week I had to choose between Vardy and Wilson, to make way for Aguero. And I keep Vardy…
Just wanna know from a general perspective, is that something wrong with my decision making? Or it’s just bad luck?
Pure bad luck.
Any one of us could have picked Maddison and Vardy if we’re honest. Looking at the fixtures ahead, you would probably still be justified in your selection.
Thanks GP. I thought I might have putting too much money on fixtures and overlooked form
Nothing wrong there Shawn I don’t think. We’re all great in hindsight. Vardy/Wilson are not exactly 50/50 given the different price range but yeah it can easily be one or the other and Vardy does have better fixtures.
One thing you can perhaps avoid in the future is to have two from the same team in these 50/50 calls. Spread the love a bit perhaps.
Good point DMC. Should have distributed my picks more evenly. I guess greed got the better of my sense
Shawn that s the proof that this game is all about 50/50 decisions, you ll get it right next time mate don t worry,it s a long process.
Thanks Teo
So who do I transfer KDB to? Richarlie & Martial have poor next fixtures but longer term ,not bad. Pereyra blanked today, Lamela has Arsenal & Spurs after tonight then Palace, but after them a sweet run until New Year. Anyone else in the 6.5 to 7.5 region that would fit? Double up Chelsea with Barkley? .I have Haz,Maddi,Mane and Fraser as the other mids and could bench any of them when difficult fixtures come along.
Easy to say this after today but probably Richarlison. We don’t have many genuine OOP players yet this season and certainly none that are as effective. You’re basically buying a fwd at a mid-range midfielfer price who gets more points for goals.
Cheers Init.
I did the same as Shawn and sold Richarlie and kept Maddi with those fixtures ,so I think I will buy him back. Maddi has some nice fixtures but needs to start producing points.
No goal so far – quite surprising.
Dont tsee it ending goalless. Just hoping for a pool win
Just done the math and it needs to be 0-1 with a Salah goal from a Robertson assist with Salah on 3BPS and Robertson to miss out to keep on track for the perfect 120 average
best of luck innit. just checked your fpl history and its amazing that you reached a 400 rank few years ago. so if u get this “120”, is the WC delayed then? 😉
Yes,but what a fabulous game.
