Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. It’s a proper Saturday of football this week as we have no less than eight games to feast on. The lunchtime game sees Bournemouth host a United team looking to build upon the three goals they scored at Norwich.
3pm brings us an Arsenal team who are somehow 5th up against Wolves. Villa host Liverpool. Brighton host a Norwich team in freefall. Southampton, fresh from conceding nine at home to Leicester have the unenviable task of travelling to the Emptyhad! John Lundstram hosts Burnley. A mediocre West Ham play host to an even more mediocre Newcastle. Saturday draws to a close when an inform Chelsea side travel to bottom of the table Watford.
Crystal Palace host Leicester at 2pm on Sunday. What are the chances of them scoring nine again? The game-week draws to a close at 4:30pm on Sunday as Spurs travel to Merseyside for the 2nd consecutive Sunday, this time to face Everton.

Belgian beer is better, yes. More special beer. Jupiler is not their best though. Your taste in beer is almost as bad as your taste in teams. :hippo:
Just kidding. I actually think Jupiler was the first beer I ever drank as a kid.
Also, biggest curse the Netherlands has is that Heineken is popular overseas. Lesser brands stay small.

Finnish vodka. Koskenkorva is my favorite! Swedish vodka sucks!
You guys really should move to a wine country. Beer is good of course. But one cannot say “I like vodka”… you may like the effect it has on you but not the flavour… wine though, it’s grapes and it’s tasty and ok I’ll stop. Just move to Southern Europe and you’re life will be better.
Slightly disagree DMC, spirits have moved on a lot. There are plenty of interesting, inviting and innovative flavours now. Although I don’t drink them myself as a rule. Trouble with them is you have to drink / sip them straight to appreciate the flavours and so you can’t have much. The issue I have with spirits is just that though, to make a drinkable drink you have to dilute / pollute them with soft drinks, thus ruining the original flavour. Pretty pointless. I mainly deal with the wine sector in work. Even though I don’t particularly drink wine either! Give me a pint of Carling basically and I’m happy :drinks:

Ehehe I get that init. For instance, I don’t like gin and yet one flavour I’ll never forget is a sip of Monkey47. I crime to mix that with tonic really. So I realized that what I dislike is the tonic. That said, I still wouldn’t drink Monkey47 with a beef … wine (and beer) are beverages that you can drink in a normal way basically in any circumstance, whereas 40 degrees beverages (as good as they may taste) are limited to some occasions which is no fun because when such occasions come along one tends to exaggerate. Wine you can drink on a 24/7-ish basis! :drinks:

I don’t do mediums. Hehe. I think Mount is ace and all changes per game. But might have a look again.
Unfortunately I went to make some last minute changes to try get a bench fodder keeper and upgrade Douglas Luis but the app kept acting up and was in work!
Albeit I’m happy enough and the team is in much better shape that it was. Something had to be done. Really appreciate all the replies and input lads, short on time there and you lot made the decisions a lot easier!

‘Goof’ would mean something similar to the opposite of ‘good’ over here. It’s derived from ‘goofy’. ‘Teld’ is a genuine word too, as such, in that it’s an old fashioned version of the past tense of ‘told’. Only telling you because I know you are interested in such things.
I did, wildcarded with some valuable input from the site and basically one big change with no tinkering. Worked out well!

When are you all planning to WC? Is there any specific time or waiting as long as possible?
I think the answer is usually whenever it suits your team. RoL above was a nice example of this. His team had started to look a bit tatty and it definitely suited a change.
Tidying it up just pre-Christmas is always a good time too, to ensure you have a full squad to combat the inevitable rotation.
Have to admit I’m finding the same problem. I’m sure some injuries will come up soon enough
Happy I still have my wildcard. Will come in handy at some point.
I’m keeping it for a potential Liverpool DGW, if it doesn’t happen then I’ll just use it if I need it, probably sometime pre-Xmas…
Aye I was planning on trying to hold it for a DGW but a few dodgy decisions and a missed deadline of two meant it was worth using it now.
A good double gameweek probably wouldn’t of made up for the amount of points I’d miss out on if I waited.
I had mine in GW 4 and it was very successful. Fantastic 6 rounds with great OR ant top in all my ML. That was the honeymoon which finished last week when missing Vardy and this one Lundstram, it’s all slippery slope since then
