Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures.

Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds.

Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who are at the very least consistent unlike their counterparts Leicester, who win three and then lose two, win three and then lose two. First place Spurs versus fourteenth place Arsenal is the third fixture of the day, fourteenth place Arsenal, sorry just had to say that again, hehehe. Anyway, Liverpool battle it out with Wolves in the last game of the day.

The gameweek might be brought to a close on Monday when Brighton sees Southampton (Ole’s heroes) come in.

Bruno looks like he’ll get a three pointer.

From a 45mins cameo and just one assist.

I do not like that man, he is my new nemesis.

Going with no keeper this week has meant my 41 from 3 players feels so much better!

Hey people – was just thinking that there should be a special class of bonus points for players who have the effect that Bruno does on a team’s perfomance, something like ‘Bruno-points’, for being able to influence a game with their attitude and motivation and downright ability to pull everyone else around them up to their level!
Pity he only scores 4 regular points (and a possible 2 or 3 bps!) !
Anyway, that’s the way the cookie (not Steve Cook or the Cookie Monster!) crumbles! smile Ole will be a happy fellow on the team bus back up to Manchester tonight (Yeah yeah yeah, I realise that Premier League sides probably don’t use local bus services anymore – but more’s the pity, as I’m sure it’s just what they need to build team cohesion. Imagine Pogba getting up to dance in the middle of the aisle and inviting his coach to boogie with him – now THAT would get them all on side!). See y’all – am going off on my tangent again! smile Haveagoodgameweek!!!
