Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures.
Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds.
Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who are at the very least consistent unlike their counterparts Leicester, who win three and then lose two, win three and then lose two. First place Spurs versus fourteenth place Arsenal is the third fixture of the day, fourteenth place Arsenal, sorry just had to say that again, hehehe. Anyway, Liverpool battle it out with Wolves in the last game of the day.
The gameweek might be brought to a close on Monday when Brighton sees Southampton (Ole’s heroes) come in.
The games in full…

Well. My differentials of Ziyech and not owning KdB are working like a charm so far. G’night chaps, hope you’re faring better so far
Nope. To a hit for Mahtrz and capped him. Nightmare gameweek. My gut told me to take risks and take a big hit… if I just did that, I’d be much better now
..lol..
52 pts (11 BP!) with Vardy, Jota, Bissouma, Kane and Lamptey to go…looking good so far 😀
I might have got away with my -8
Surely the aim of such a hit is to benefit from it, not ‘get away with it’?
Long term moves though really
Well done Smash!
My -8 still to be justify. The Spurs duo could help :unknw:
Who would you swap Ziyech for? Grealish or Jota? Have 9.8 to spend and already have Son, KDB and Fernandez.
Both are great options.
Similar to what I’m trying to work out. I would probably go grealish but Depends and what you are doing with the extra funds if you went jota instead.
could you not go cheaper and get saiah in there somewhere?
Who would you recommend out of JWP , neto or podence?
Neto for sure I think
You think hell be playing up front?
Unfortunately I can’t wait till tomorrow to see
Smash, don’t say that. I feel so guilty removing Neto. After all, he saved my GW 10. I hope there is no regret there
Yeah he could do. I dont like JWP as a pick really I’m sure those points will tail off. Both Podence and Neto will get more mins now Jimenez is out. Fixtures are a bit rough though
Yeah, Southamptons fixtures are far better
Raphinia at Leeds has looked good in that price bracket to
JWP or Neto. I have Podence in my team and I found this a bit frustrating and stressful on weekly basis :laugh2:
The only way to get Salah would be to downgrade either Vardy or DCL for a cheap forward as I’d need to raise and extra 2.4m. Jota looks to have better fixtures but game time could be questionable.
Thinking ahead to GW12 already…
How would you get Salah in?
2FTs and 2.3m
Son & Lamptey to Salah & Lewis if it works.
0.3m short… could also do Cancelo to James for a -4 for it to work.
Not worth the hit I think. Son to Salah and Cancelo to someone who can rotate well with Lamptey. Even Dier is 4.9, so you have plenty of options there.
Son and a defender downgrade
Cancelo to a sub 4.9m I guess
Zouma now has 4 goals the same as Werner, Mane and Sheffield Utd!
And I tell myself ‘that must be his last one’ after every single one…
+1 it’s not sustainable surely
