Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures.
Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds.
Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who are at the very least consistent unlike their counterparts Leicester, who win three and then lose two, win three and then lose two. First place Spurs versus fourteenth place Arsenal is the third fixture of the day, fourteenth place Arsenal, sorry just had to say that again, hehehe. Anyway, Liverpool battle it out with Wolves in the last game of the day.
The gameweek might be brought to a close on Monday when Brighton sees Southampton (Ole’s heroes) come in.
The games in full…

All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the final GW.
OR #1 never finished inside 1.5M.
Off to a flying start and a great GW!
Yeah no chips used. Started the season with Kane and Son
I think a lot of luck comes with winning the whole thing, it’s very rare to see a winner with consistent history!
Like Smash said, Son+Kane, especially in GWs 2&4 would have aided any manager greatly.
Yeah you have to do stuff that’s different too and for it all to pay off
There a chance for us all then!
Those Norwegians must have some kind of a FPL cult, they always seem to do quite well…!
Anyways you’re not doing too bad yourself – Kudos :bravo:
Yes, must be something in the Norwegian water.
Well, currently my mrs is sitting around 37k OR. She doesn’t overthink and overcomplicate her decisions. She trusts her intuition and goes with it. She had a couple of bad captain choices and they were probably influenced by me :laugh2:
Lol. Don’t ruin her season with more of your advice.
To do well you need to take risks. I had one top 1k finish. Had a few bold captain choices that came off. But you do also need to be consistent. That season I had 21GW in a row with scores 60+. The marathon aspect and whether you sustain is important. I suspect many who started well won’t keep it up and there is still some hope for us with miserable starts. Keep plugging away.
Keep plugging away. Exactly.
Another bad week only 58points with Vardy, Jota, McCarthy to play.
Huh what’s bad about that
I wish I had that many points
The average is 25 pts…
I have 5 less point, Brewster instead of Jota left, and i’m pretty ecstatic tbh. Spurs and Pool masterclasses could reign the green arrow in a bit but can’t really complain.
Any thoughts on this for a WC?
Let me try to attach again!
I quite like it Gear. Trying to get to something similar on my team, but I think the hit will be too much…
Not too convinced about Dier, might go KWP/Taylor/Coufal instead
Coincidentally this might let you upgrade to Soucek in mid btw
Either way, hold the trigger for the games later today
I like it. I’d get James instead of Dier. Which might mean slight downgrade on Targett to Taylor and Anguissa down a bit
Cheers both, food for thought
West Bromwich Albion v Crystal Palace
Where the heck is Mitchell?!
Out trollin’ with Fergie
Looks like he’s died as an FPL asset
The Mitchell-in tyre has exploded. Time for owners to get a new replacement.
I wonder if he is still at CP at all.
Took -8 this week and he is still lingering in my team
Good morning from Florida. It’s too damn early for a 82yr to get up & watch football. I need my sleep.
Good luck to all & wish you green arrows.
At least the game is good, surprisingly
This Vardy party had better get going this time
