Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures.

Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds.

Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who are at the very least consistent unlike their counterparts Leicester, who win three and then lose two, win three and then lose two. First place Spurs versus fourteenth place Arsenal is the third fixture of the day, fourteenth place Arsenal, sorry just had to say that again, hehehe. Anyway, Liverpool battle it out with Wolves in the last game of the day.

The gameweek might be brought to a close on Monday when Brighton sees Southampton (Ole’s heroes) come in.

  1. Anyone else having issues scrolling on the site since the snowflakes were added. On iPhone using Chrome. I mean it’s not a massive issue just wondered if it was just me.

    • On my phone using dolphin browser, yes. On my laptop with Chrome, no.

    • Can’t say I’ve had an issue but I’m using Android.

    • Nope.

    • No issues. On iPhone, using safari

    • Used the site when the sun was shining and then since the snowflakes started coming down on a desktop, a laptop and a mobile. Haven’t seen any disruptions whatsoever :no:

      • Fine with me too – I have a Semi-smart phone. Maybe don’t drink and text? smile

    • It’s not a big deal, just noticed that the screen seems to continue to scroll in whatever direction I was going but my fingers are not touching the screen. Really no big deal but since someone brought it up.

    • Might just be me, seems to go jittery when scrolling up and down, especially when pictures are there. I’ll try a different browser.

    • Apparently IT are looking into it. Should be fixed by about Easter then.

  3. Getting scared and don’t want to get killed by Salah vs FULL.
    Could swap Bruno for him next week and reverse it the following week, or my nerves will be shreds.

  4. Evening everyone. Which would you do?

    A. Grealish and Son to Salah and Soucek
    B. Grealish and Kane to Salah and Bamford

    Very torn over Son and Kane.

    • Kane and Son duet are season keep, just saying :yes:

      • Going without Salah is a big move though! Are you going without him?

        • I would not get rid of Kane.

        • Matt, I’ve decided to go without him. Fulham are well aware of the danger and will be prepared. Even if he scores a brace, which I very much doubt, doesn’t justify dissembling my team to bring him in. There is a life beyond GW 12 you know 😉

        • That’s a fair point, Ivan. I definitely get where you’re coming from and you could be right.

    • I would do none of those moves, Salah is too expensive, yeah he makes good points this week but so do Son and Kane, and Grealish is miles better than either Soucek or Bamford

      • You’re probably right, Zed. Liverpool have good fixtures coming up now though.

        • Yeah I was just thinking of getting Salah in and then I thought I don’t want Bamford and him over Kane and Jack… Son is also having a great season (more points than Salah currently, no?) for a lot less, season keeper for me!

        • Yeah I see where you’re coming from there, Zed. I might just have to think on it and hope that Jota does start next week.

        Did Kane/Grealish to Kdb/ Bamford.

        Still feel ok with it despite Kane’s haul as I wanted Kdb.

        Can’t have them all.

        I do think that the advice is different depending on whether u have them to sell or not.

        • Probably doesn’t hurt that Bamford also scored! 😉

        • I still think that will pay off going forward. You will captain KDB and prob not Kane over next few weeks. I just sold Kane instead of Vardy which cost me 4 points overall but I can bring Kane back for Vardy now so might do that

    • Yikes, and I was happy about being on ~60ish sad

    • I rose yesterday from about 1.4m to 700k. Today hurt – no Spurs or Salah so let’s see where I end up
