Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures.

Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds.

Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who are at the very least consistent unlike their counterparts Leicester, who win three and then lose two, win three and then lose two. First place Spurs versus fourteenth place Arsenal is the third fixture of the day, fourteenth place Arsenal, sorry just had to say that again, hehehe. Anyway, Liverpool battle it out with Wolves in the last game of the day.

The gameweek might be brought to a close on Monday when Brighton sees Southampton (Ole’s heroes) come in.

  1. I need to be number one

  2. I think I’ve got a neat way to get the holy trinity in. Question is… would you rather have KWP and Son or Robertson and Grealish?

    • Pretty sure the son is one third of the holy trinity! laugh

    • I would choose second option.

      • Son is the top scorer, and nothing is suggesting that that’s about to change. Wouldnt sell son for ANY player right now…

  3. Best way to fit in Salah? 1FT £0.1 ITB. Willing to take a hit.

  4. Reading that the Newcastle vs West Brom game is now in doubt. But let’s see how the latest round of tests goes and if they can open up training ground tomorrow…

  5. A dilemma. I can swap out De Bruyne for Salah, as C, tonight only (a -4 hit, as I have to raise some cash on cheap defenders). Citeh v United, Liverpool v Fulham this weekend (dead rubber CL games midweek?). Dunno.
I did Son out for De Bruyne, as C, last weekend (-4), and it was moderately successful, but I wonder about the weekend coming. ‘Pool has Spurs at home the week following, and Citeh home to WBA. Will ‘Pool rest Salah for Spurs?

    • KdB out for a hit is a new one on me KI.

      Wow.

      • GP,
        Sorry.
it’s a one-week transfer, trying to maximize C points. Back to De Bruyne the week after, for the foreseeable future. (Vardy and Kane are my other C possibilities).
        Mito,
Thanks for the comment. It seems likely.

        • Totally see where you’re coming from but I think that’s asking for trouble.

We know de Bruyne could post double figures against United.

        • GP,

Thanks very much. It’s a winning point.
That”ll save me a hit. And this is what makes the list so valuable.

    • Liverpool and Spurs play Sunday and Tuesday. I am not sure what to expect from Klopp. He could rest him, but I think he probably starts him and tries to get him off early if possible.

  6. Can anyone explain this Mitchell situation?

Pp = Paid price is 4.1..
Cp = current price is 4.1
Sp = selling price is 4.0?

My math isn’t the best in the world… but umm.. what?
