Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. We have a fairly succinct game-week before we all wander off aimlessly into yet another unwanted international break. 10 games over 2 days begins on Saturday at lunch-time as Cardiff host Brighton, sounds like a thriller. We jump then to four 3pm games and we shall be honest here, we aren’t expecting the most action packed Saturday afternoon ever! Huddersfield look to tame Arnie and co, and probably will, to a 0-0 or something similar. Newcastle vs Bournemouth continues the fun, yep that ones got a low score written all over it too. Saints v Watford next, bet against another 0-0 anyone?! Leicester do have what will be sure to be an emotional occasion against Burnley at home, but as a game, again…
Palace host Spurs in the evening game if anyone is still awake, at least there’s the prospect of some goals in this one, we can but hope!
Sunday promises much better though, and just in case there are any stats fans out there the 12 Saturday teams have averaged 12 goals apiece this season, the remaining Sunday bunch of 8 are at 20.75. Liverpool kick us off at home to Fulham in the 12pm game and it could / should be calculators at the ready in this one. Chelsea then take on Everton at 2.15pm before we end our week in strange fashion with two 4.30pm games. Arsenal and Wolves will be largely ignored as the Manchester derby takes centre stage at the same time.

not a bad score given the slow start to the week cookie. 59 for me this week. keeps me 35 points ahead as leader in my office ML and 4th in the lfc fans ML , so overall pretty good.
want to get rid of barkley and decide how to get martial in.

60 odd here, so unpluseed and predictedly average that I couldn’t even be arsed to check it properly!
57 for me Cookie, so not enough to steal 3rd place from you in the Contributors League. I have moved top of my current work’s league though, which is nice 🙂
However, I’m quite annoyed at getting a red arrow (only my second of the season), although it was only a drop of 475 places.
I dodged a few bullets, as was contemplating a -4 for Morata or Diangana at various points, but resisted. In the end my FT was Mitro > Jiminez, which paid off nicely. I also captained my highest scoring attacking player.
So yes, overall it was a good GW.

Indeed Cookie. Everytime I post these days feels like ages since I posted my previous comment. I haven’t been able to dedicate enough time and effort to regularly post/advise this year but every now and again I get a few moments and this is where I come to read and comment FPL.

As usual, 10 or 20 points behind everyone here, a red arrow, and not really understanding what I’m doing wrong.
But I’m less and less bothered to be honest. I’ll just play without thinking too much. If I can.
Just unlucky Frenchie, replace Mane and Hazard today with Salah (c) and one of the scoring mids and you’re on a par with everyone else. Could have easily gone the other way in your favour.
I’d ask if you enjoyed the game you went to but I saw it and it was fairly dire!

Chelsea Everton was dire indeed. Very poor first half, a bit better in the second. Morata was ruled offside at least 5 times in second half, I wzs hoping for Giroud to come in but didn’t happen
