Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. We have a fairly succinct game-week before we all wander off aimlessly into yet another unwanted international break. 10 games over 2 days begins on Saturday at lunch-time as Cardiff host Brighton, sounds like a thriller. We jump then to four 3pm games and we shall be honest here, we aren’t expecting the most action packed Saturday afternoon ever! Huddersfield look to tame Arnie and co, and probably will, to a 0-0 or something similar. Newcastle vs Bournemouth continues the fun, yep that ones got a low score written all over it too. Saints v Watford next, bet against another 0-0 anyone?! Leicester do have what will be sure to be an emotional occasion against Burnley at home, but as a game, again…

Palace host Spurs in the evening game if anyone is still awake, at least there’s the prospect of some goals in this one, we can but hope!

Sunday promises much better though, and just in case there are any stats fans out there the 12 Saturday teams have averaged 12 goals apiece this season, the remaining Sunday bunch of 8 are at 20.75. Liverpool kick us off at home to Fulham in the 12pm game and it could / should be calculators at the ready in this one. Chelsea then take on Everton at 2.15pm before we end our week in strange fashion with two 4.30pm games. Arsenal and Wolves will be largely ignored as the Manchester derby takes centre stage at the same time.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 12 from all at FF247!

  1. Hammers cleanie gone already!

  2. Westham CS gone..

  3. Still mulling…
Midfield rotation combo for 9.6m or under:
    A) Diangana (4.5) + Brooks (5.1)
    B) Paterson (5.2) + Kayal (4.4)
    C) Jorginho (5) + Camarasa (4.5)
    D) Other suggestions/combos of above
    Cheers all!

  4. Ings who is in my team gets an assist and I am gutted.
    #mixedloyalties

  5. My two new recruits (Arny & Pereyra) are the only players I have right now. What’s everyone else looking for?

    • They’re literally the only two I have playing today!

      • I may or may not have a few playing in the late game… including my captain… :/

      • It was going so well. Pompey win 4 – 0
        Cardiff win
Huddersfield and Newcastle leading and then Ings goes and sets up goal.
        Disgusting!!
At least he’s been subbed before he can do any more damage

    • Got rid of Mitro and Maddison for Wilson and Anderson.
      So far, no joy :bandit:

  6. Right people, going to activate my wildcard.
Who should I ditch, who should I go for? Who should I avoid?
I have £1.7m ITB as well

    • Keep Kante for starters :hippo:

    • Ederson, Robertson keep get Mane and Sterling smile

      • is felipe anderson a good shout, along with arnie of course

        • Do I bring in a back-up keeper that will play?

        • Hi Hammers, no idea if you managed to read this week’s Tips article by Kop but I reckon you should give that a good look over again if you’re on a WC, seriously good read for exactly your purpose here (a WC).

        • It would be good if you could work out a proposed wildcard side then bring that to the table for people’s comments. Do a bit of research, nick a few ideas, that sort of thing. Look at the fixtures, who’s playing the weak teams, who’s in form etc.

Otherwise you run the risk of not really owning whatever side you end up with.

Next time you ask for feedback, come back naked.

        • I will do that Inittowinit, although some of the players it mentions I have, and some of it I dont, obviously, but they are expensive, with means I have to go with dross (which obviously we all have to do).

Kralin, Have been trying to create a few WC teams that have some of my team in, and build around them. Just not sure whether to have Salah or Mane, Aguero or Kane.

        • I’d have Kun and Mane if I was Wc’ing. The Salah-less funds should be enough to get Sterling and / or Hazard in there. Add in Arnie by default. Go for the obvious at the back with the RAM combo, lose either the R or the A if needs be but stick with cheaper alternatives in the same team like Luiz or VVD. The odd Brighton defender should do as back up as 4th, 5th on both defenders and mids should be as cheap as possible but also play (not Kante!).

        • Wud u need balls of steel not to have Salah? One of these days he will score big

        • That’s the problem with WC’ing for me Dreamers. Both release funds aplenty but if I asked you which two players could possibly post a 40-50 monster haul on any given captained week the answer would probably those two!l

        • hey Init. How you doin mate?

Which two do you mean? Kun and Mane or some combo of them and/or Salah/Hazard/Sterling? Not that it really matters – just curious

        • Hi Dreamers, Kun and Salah.

        • cant argue with that mate

        • Inittowinit, sorry for being thick…lol, how do you mean RAM at the back? – Robertson, Alonso and Mendy?????

        • Yes mate, them.

        • Hi Hammerfan. I’m not Init, but I can answer that RAM question for you. You’re spot on – it’s just an acronym for the template defence of Robertson, Alonso, Mendy 🙂

        • Thanks guys, appreciate your help.
Will tinker with some ideas, and report back with some wildcard screenshots.
