Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. We have a fairly succinct game-week before we all wander off aimlessly into yet another unwanted international break. 10 games over 2 days begins on Saturday at lunch-time as Cardiff host Brighton, sounds like a thriller. We jump then to four 3pm games and we shall be honest here, we aren’t expecting the most action packed Saturday afternoon ever! Huddersfield look to tame Arnie and co, and probably will, to a 0-0 or something similar. Newcastle vs Bournemouth continues the fun, yep that ones got a low score written all over it too. Saints v Watford next, bet against another 0-0 anyone?! Leicester do have what will be sure to be an emotional occasion against Burnley at home, but as a game, again…

Palace host Spurs in the evening game if anyone is still awake, at least there’s the prospect of some goals in this one, we can but hope!

Sunday promises much better though, and just in case there are any stats fans out there the 12 Saturday teams have averaged 12 goals apiece this season, the remaining Sunday bunch of 8 are at 20.75. Liverpool kick us off at home to Fulham in the 12pm game and it could / should be calculators at the ready in this one. Chelsea then take on Everton at 2.15pm before we end our week in strange fashion with two 4.30pm games. Arsenal and Wolves will be largely ignored as the Manchester derby takes centre stage at the same time.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 12 from all at FF247!

Ings lasts 33 minutes now Trippier lasts 23. I’ve got Richarlie and Maddi as well! Hopefully a fortnight off should sort them out,but Maddi is out tonight for either Felipe or Lamela who I will check out tonight. He hasn’t done much so far!

      • Kruzcampo says:

Yeah, his price is going down like a lead balloon and he has done nothing for the last few weeks.I think Leicester are shot mentally and I think their “good” fixtures will be finished before they recover.

        • inittowinit says:

Still doesn’t justify a move nearly two weeks out.

        • eresh12 says:

+ 1. To each Their own I guess and the benefit of saving 0.1 on early transfers

        • Kruzcampo says:

Saving 0.1 on early transfers? Have a look at Mitrovitch who went down 0.2 in the last gameweek and is down 42.5% today. A blank at Liverpool and 2 weeks before the next game will see him go down another 0.3. I sold him last night before the latest drop.
Same with Maddison -injured with an unknown return date.Down 0-1 last week and now on 84.4% down today. another 2 weeks and he will be down another 0-2 or 0-3.
0.5 drop on 2 players that I own or owned blows plans out of the water over the next few weeks where I intend to change those players anyway. I am just doing it earlier to ensure those plans come to fruition.

        • eresh12 says:

you raise a valid point kruz since it helps with your plans and if the other player u seek gains by 0.1 it could throw ur plans out of the water and re-think you moves.

innit, your a fpl veteran, whats your take on early transfers and how often do you do it?

        • Kruzcampo says:

I have a team value of 104.2 with 4 players on the 1st page of FPL statistics. This has been done by doing early transfers, selling players whose prices are going down and buying players whose price is going up. Some like Obi wan who has just gone down don’t worry me as a nailed on starter who I bought at 4.0 and still has a selling price of 4.1.International breaks are the worst as that gives sellers 2 weeks to tweak their teams.Once a player gets a red flag and an unknown return date, then it is open season and that player gets sold handover fist. Watch what happens with Trippier if no news comes out.His price will plummet. That’s what happens all the time.

        • TheDreamers says:

Kruz – I’d support the go early. Whats the worst that will happen? You buy someone who gets injured? Thats what hits or bench are for. If they are the players you want, bite the bullet and go for it

        • inittowinit says:

Never, eresh. Friday at 10pm assuming a Saturday lunchtime deadline which is the norm. Gets the pressers out of the way plus any late leaks as per Pogba yesterday for example. If I could I’d wait until an hour before the deadline I would but I play football myself on a Saturday morning and then coach a kids team just after it so I’m gone by 9am and never back before the deadline.

That’s just my approach to it and as you say each to their own. Feels like Kruz may be playing a different game in terms of TV.

        • Kralin says:

I like a Friday night transfer. Delayed gratification. Or better still: a deferred Friday night transfer.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Or better still: a deferred Friday night glass of special brew.

        • Chipster says:

Haha, the old ‘early transfer’ debate raises its head again I see

I remember passionately defending the early transfer to Ivan earlier this season:

I need to get Maddison out and want Sterling. It would take 8ph.
Madd to Sterling Robertson to Gomez and Salah to Mane….what do you guys think?
Or do you see other changes that would work better?

Don’t much like the look of my team for next week.
    Thanks a million!

What a diabolical start to the gw 5 points from 4 players and that won’t be improving today. As well as not following Constantines advice to bring in Anderson, I’ll also have Stephens to come off the bench with a -2 if Richarlison doesn’t play!
