Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. Friday night football is back! Don’t get too excited…it’s a bottom of the table clash as Norwich host Watford. Given how bad these two teams are it could be anything from a scoreless draw to a 5-5 cracker. The safe bet is a boring scoreless draw.
Saturday kicks off at lunchtime as an in form Chelsea team host a Palace side who have taken one point from their last three games. 3pm sees a battle between two teams in freefall as Burnley host West Ham. Bournemouth face the long trip north to play Newcastle. Southampton host Everton in a game that will challenge Friday night’s game for the worst game of the weekend! John Lundstram travels to London to face Spurs. Saturday draws to a conclusion as free scoring Leicester host a clueless Arsenal side.
There are two games at 2pm on Sunday as United host Brighton and Wolves host Villa in what is likely to be a fiery Midlands derby. They have unquestionably saved the best for last as at 4:30pm Liverpool host Man City in a game that will play a large part in deciding where the PL title ends up.
The games in full…

TheDreamers
Bit trigger happy there Gavy?
Gavy
Yes a little rage -4 :big-lol:
bees393
59 pts with Mane, Jimenez, DeBruyne and Saiss to play. Have had worse weeks.
bees393
“worst”
GentleBenAKA
worse
Rosco
Well played! Vardy had me worried for a while! 53 here with Jiminez, Martial, KDB, TAA and Mane left. Bit gutted I decided last minute to bring Martial In over Maddy but hopefully he can get something tomorrow to ease the pain! Oh and not long been back from the match! Toon Army!!
Zed Leppelin
I’m having a great week for a change, there were others with very similar team to mine, Smash for instance, think we’re doing great now!! Yay!!! I’m on 62 with TAA/Sterling/Salah/KDB to go
Rosco
Very nice!! Well played mate you deserve it!
TheDreamers
Zed – your team links to Le Tissier’s goals? Nice.
Great score there.
Zed Leppelin
Of course!!! :bop:
TheDreamers
Nice one. I’m on 53 (-4) post bonus if they stay as they are. Looks like Maddison will lose his 2 bonus for 1. Not having Soy or Tomori is hurting . It feels like it isnt going to make much if any difference in my ML which is a bit disappointing
photek
53 here with kdb, salah and kun to play…its better than a kick in the swingers i suppose :good:
Mitro
59 after bonuses with VVD, mane and sterling to go
eresh12
64 after bonuses with kdb, mane, sterling and jimmy to go
TheDreamers
nice scoring eresh. Your link doesnt seem to be working anymore
Aarron13
I’m an Arsenal fan who captained Vardy , knew that would happen with Emery in charge
TheDreamers
Aarron – there doesnt seem any plan. Whether I agreed or not re Ozil being out, at least there was a logic (he doesnt press).
Aarron13
Got to go now, goal difference is minus 1 embarrassing
eresh12
updated it dreamers. should be okay in the next5- 10 minutes. u can also find me in our el ef cee league
hammerfan_lm
I am currently on 53 with Robertson, Dunk, Salah, KDB and Sterling to play. So glad I didnt use my other transfer to bring Perez in, VVd->Soyuncu paid off, and glad I captained Vardy over King.
Now to see how Salah does, to decide whether he is worth shipping out in favour of Mane…..lol
bees393
Forgot to add BP…on to 63 pts!
IvanTheTerrible
The same here bees. Did you go for the Janmaat move?
theswirly
60 after bonus for me, with TAA, McGinn, Mane, KDB and Sterling to go. Have to say I’m very pleasantly surprised – as much as there are still matches tomorrow, I had a bad feeling it was going to be one of those weeks!
Zed Leppelin
64pts actually for me now, didn’t realize Pope got 2 bonus as well…. Happy days!!!! :yahoo:
Wafflez
57 with 5 left to play for me, and something strange has happened two green arrows in a row.
Hopefully the last one stays after tomorrow
Wafflez
Forgot the -4 so 53 points actually
photek
whoever talked me out out of soyuncu for rico…thanks
:big-lol:
Raziel
I did not but I would have before this game. Hehe.
hammers
Same here.
Kept leaving Rico pts on the bench so played him this week over soy :suicide:
photek
next gw we’ll get it right Hammers
TheDreamers
if your team is linked right, you brought in Pulisic and Patricio for Mount and Emerson. Seemed sound advice by whoever gave it to not bring in Soy for Rico on the basis that it would cost a -4. I’ve followed lots of advice on here. Have ignored a bunch also. End of the day, its your own call.
photek
my team should be linked right but i don’t have pulisic or pat. i brought in tielman for yarm this week.
and i was joking about soy/rico, i honestly thought arsenal would score so it was my call :good:
beno1234
my very early preliminary idea is CHO and one of city boys (Sterling or KDB) to Maddison and Pulisic. Let’s see how tomorrow and the IB goes.
TheDreamers
seems fairly sound early thinking beno
GentleBenAKA
Would be nice for a few more people to link their teams to their names. Always intrigued to see how you’re all doing.
Den Perry Did It
Well I’m feeling pretty good about things right now, which is nice. I made a late squad swap from Lundstram to Soyuncu and from Abraham to Vardy for capo. Also, keeping faith with Tamori has paid off.
I have to say watching the Spurs/Sheff Utd match was pretty stressful, Lundstram could easily have scored two & received clean sheet points.
theswirly
Eek, I didn’t realise he’d been that busy! Saw he’d hit the woodwork and that was bad enough! Glad he did just get the two points sat on my bench, especially as the players he would have replaced have scored better. Suffice to say, he’s back in the starting XI for Man U at home!
