Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. Friday night football is back! Don’t get too excited…it’s a bottom of the table clash as Norwich host Watford. Given how bad these two teams are it could be anything from a scoreless draw to a 5-5 cracker. The safe bet is a boring scoreless draw.
Saturday kicks off at lunchtime as an in form Chelsea team host a Palace side who have taken one point from their last three games. 3pm sees a battle between two teams in freefall as Burnley host West Ham. Bournemouth face the long trip north to play Newcastle. Southampton host Everton in a game that will challenge Friday night’s game for the worst game of the weekend! John Lundstram travels to London to face Spurs. Saturday draws to a conclusion as free scoring Leicester host a clueless Arsenal side.
There are two games at 2pm on Sunday as United host Brighton and Wolves host Villa in what is likely to be a fiery Midlands derby. They have unquestionably saved the best for last as at 4:30pm Liverpool host Man City in a game that will play a large part in deciding where the PL title ends up.
The games in full…

71 with Sterling, KDB and Mane to go.
Finally a good gameweek it seems. Still not enough to go back into top 500k, that’s how far I was!
Good luck for the remaining games.
Good shooting Frenchie. Have those 3 plus Doherty and Martial for me. Really hoping them both scoring tonight..
Great score Frenchie
Well you just jumped 1 000 000 places Frenchie. That’s some rank climbing! Top 100k is just around the corner (42 pts in your case to be exact).
Nice!
Nice one mate. My score of 42 sucks. But I have six players left to play.
Great score Frenchie they will keep coming now
Who is they? The commies?
So what’s a good score this week? I’m on 48 which I thought was ok but I’m seeing some much bigger scores from a lot of you lot!
Still got Sterling, KDB, Mane and TAA to go but annoyed I left Soy and Janmaat on the bench (although I hear Lundy and Rico both rattled the woodwork so more luck than judgment).
I guess it comes down to the ML for me. I’ve 55 (-4) and have dropped in my ML
True. 48 is good enough for me in my ML (although my rivals captained Sterling so still potential for 48 not being a good score in my ML!).
56 for me four to go
It all comes down to luck. Lundie is a must with his goal threat.
Anything above the average really. I’ve always thought that scoring 60 or more is a good week!
I’m on 52 with Ryan, TAA, Salah, Sterling and Jimenez to go.
maddison or tielemans?
tough one but i think maddy edges it because of the set plays makes him more likely to assist
It depends. I think I will go for Tielemans and use the money to do Mount -> Pulisic
Maddison for me but be happy enough with either
Maddison if they were the same price but that 0.8 is a chunky difference.
Maddison
Just choose one and stay with him. I bought Tielemans in GW 10 and he has 20 pts in 3 gws whereas Maddie has 26. Both are heading for a great season I reckon.
Both excellent but I went with Maddison
Maddison for me.
Tielemans can be threatening as he’s using the space created by players in front of him, but still is supposed to play deeper, whereas Maddison is central to everything they do, a real number 10, also on set pieces.
I went with Tielemans, more based on price. Would have gone with Maddison if i could afford him.
Both are great pics i think
Cheers all! Think I’m leaning towards Maddison!
Hmm. Do I need tp replace mount? He’s been unlucky more than anything. Also after City they have awesome fixtures. Going for Mads or Tiels seems sideways.

How funny Raz :big-lol:
They both have 7 or so in form v Mounts 3
Depends what other priorities you have or not Raz
I’m thinking have both and go with 352.
4 teams are standing out st the top of the league. Given prices is it reasonable just to go for 3 Leicester, 3 Chelsea, 2 Liverpool, 2 City and Lundstram?
Why indeed not. It’ll mean you only have skin in half the games at most each week but at least you’ll be expecting goals rather than hoping for them.
I know we are heading for another long IB but I have urgent matters needing to be addressed. Pukki, Cantwell and Ota have to go. With 2 FT and only 0.3 ITB there is not much room for manoeuvring and most likely a hit will be involved. Watford have a nice couple of games followed by string of horror ones up to Christmas.
Any other bright ideas :scratch_one-s_head:
I’m still not sold on Watford but price wise this may be your best bet short term.
Thanks init. I might leave it and ponder for the next two weeks, it’s just that Pukki who is dropping like a hot brick
You could always do just that one then or is it all interlinked? Not checked but I wouldn’t imagine Deulofeu is in the Spain squad. And if he isn’t it’s not likely he will do anything strenuous enough to get injured in the break, he certainly doesn’t do anything strenuous when he’s on the pitch if that’s anything to go by.
Nah, I wouldn’t worry for any injuries init, he is included in the Spanish team but usually sits on the bench and have a few minutes cameo now and again.
I think you can justify Deulofeu for the next 4 but 2 of them is too much. I’m sure you can buy Lundstram for AOTA and Pukki for Deulofeu. Don’t be stubborn. Buy Lundstram.
*AOTA being Awful OTAmendi!
You are right DMC. It’s time to join, or should I say rejoin, as I had him in the team before, the Lundstram bandwagon
