Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. The gameweek gets going with a Friday get together when The Hammers pay a visit to Leeds.
Saturday brings us 4 interesting fixtures. Wolves try to bounce back when they welcome in Villa, Toon play host to West Brom, the Manchester derby then takes flight as Bruno tries to go at it alone versus the vaunted City attack. Saturday comes to an end when the struggling Everton takes on high scoring Chelsea.
Sunday brings an end to the gameweek with 5 meh fixtures. Saints play Sheffield Utd, Zaha battles Kane and Son and Fulham bend over for Liverpool in the first three games. The last two fixtures are played simultaneously (thankfully) when 15th placed :mosking: Arsenal take on Burnley and it comes to an end when Leicester tangle with Brighton.

I’ve not managed to field 11 players since GW8… every week I have to transfer out someone for covid or injury or lost their place and I can’t attack! So frustrating!
Jota injury and Lamptey no show this week. I need to strengthen my bench… but I need 11 players first!

Thinking the same for Jota. I guess Fulham have the better short term fuxtures. The question is whether it’s better just to go for a 4.5mid. I think they will be benched most weeks although will play sometimes. The law of things is they come on when they blank and sit on the bench when they return.

Soucek out of those two. Eze has passed the eye test in Palace’s two games, just to provide another option.

Who is the FF247 go-to?
I want to get Salah for him by by moving Vardy –> Bamford and Walker –> Dier, but that would mean -8 points… I don’t see anyone that I want to move in for him at the moment other than maybe Bowen!

Generally the go to options for Jota replacements are puzzlement or panic.

I’d happy keep him in on the bench but you just know he’s going to fall by .2 or .3 value in the next 3-4 days and it’s just not worth it…. Aghhhhhhh

It’s very tough, Burnsy. I’m considering just going to a 4.5 as I don’t like any of the other mids.
