Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. The gameweek gets going with a Friday get together when The Hammers pay a visit to Leeds.

Saturday brings us 4 interesting fixtures. Wolves try to bounce back when they welcome in Villa, Toon play host to West Brom, the Manchester derby then takes flight as Bruno tries to go at it alone versus the vaunted City attack. Saturday comes to an end when the struggling Everton takes on high scoring Chelsea.

Sunday brings an end to the gameweek with 5 meh fixtures. Saints play Sheffield Utd, Zaha battles Kane and Son and Fulham bend over for Liverpool in the first three games. The last two fixtures are played simultaneously (thankfully) when 15th placed :mosking: Arsenal take on Burnley and it comes to an end when Leicester tangle with Brighton.

    • That’s a really nice squad. So much so, I’m struggling on what to suggest! I wouldn’t change anything on your starting XI – maybe just do Mitchell to Johnson to earn yourself a £0.1m for the bank? He’s played five minutes twice in the last two gameweeks and so could be there just for one point at least. Honestly can’t think of anything else and it would be a shame to waste your transfers.

    Hope you’ve had a great gameweek! Managed to bag myself 67 points and a 47k green arrow, which I’m absolutely delighted with! Being without Salah or Son, I really dreaded how this week would go and so I’ve well and truly dodged a bullet. Such luck won’t last for long!

    Who would you recommend as the best replacement for Jota? I do have 2 FTs, but would prefer to just make one move this week. I’m wondering about the likes of Soucek, Bowen, Mount or even Ward-Prowse?

    Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

    • I just moved Jota for Soucek. Allows me to bring in Son for Grealish at some point.
      Was behind the couch for sure. Thought Salah would come up with a hatty. 76pts so really chuffed. But as you say it could all go to the dogs next week!

      • Cheers, bees. Yeah, Soucek is definitely tempting for his price. West Ham have some nice fixtures, apart from the Chelsea game, pretty much until the end of January. Love the thinking behind Grealish to Son as well, with the way Villa’s good fixtures end and Spurs’ begin!

    • Hey Swirly nice score! I like Bowen and JWP but at the price and consistency I really like Soucek. I think he can stay in your team all season ticking away at an average of 4 points per game and it gives you the cash to splash elsewhere. Having said that, Southampton and West Ham don’t have the best fixtures in GWs 13 and 14 so I would be tempted to have a punt on Lookman for the next two GWs.

  5. Who would you rather have, Mahrez or Grealish? Or someone else 9.8 or less? Already have Son.

      • Hi Gentle Ben. I would want to use at least one transfer. Upgrade Mitchell?

        • Burnley seem to be turning the corner. If you have the money, Mitchell to Charlie Taylor or Lowton? I upgraded Mitchell to Taylor though fat lot of good it did me, as I had him last on my bench thinking Arsenal would score.
