Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. And so we are finally back and live with some FPL action. It’s a protracted one in that we go over 3 days from Saturday to Monday but also an odd one in so much as 8 of the games are done and dusted by Saturday evening. We get going with a cracker as Arsenal host Spurs at lunchtime on Saturday and then we see the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in action at 3pm. Man United bring the day to a close with an evening clash with Rafa and his Toon troops. Sunday sees just the one game at 4pm as Watford and West Ham are tasked with putting the ‘Super’ in Sunday. Fat chance! Brighton and Stoke ride in to save the day on Monday with a classic in the making. Yep, fat chance of that too! Enjoy Saturday while you can then.

  5. 1) is 59 with Gross and Richarlison to play a decent score?
    2) is Sterling to Pogba a wise move?

    • 1 – Above average so yes.
      2 – Could go either way really. Pogba will probably be more consistent but not as explosive. Giving that one some consideration myself, but probably not until I WC.

      2) feels a bit wrong taking a City player out with the form they are in. Pogba looked good today but after Brighton I’d say next 3 ain’t easy to I’d probably stick with Sterling

      Is Pogba gonna rise tonight? Dunno why his progress says 0.0% on FFFix?

    • Pogba can’t rise for 7 days banjo

      • I thought something like that. Out of interest, do you know the reason why?

        • Think it’s because he just returned to action from being injured

        • I wonder what the actual rules are there though. Players are always coming back from injuries, but aren’t always subject to price freezes.

        • Banjo, if they are flagged as injured then they are frozen for 7 days after that flag is removed.

        • Thanks Init. What does ‘flagged as injured’ actually mean though? Kun was ‘injured’ a couple of days ago, but he doesn’t appear frozen. Seems a tough one to monitor.

        • I do think it’s piss poor that the actual FPL site won’t acknowledge their own rules. Especially given how big a part of the game it is. It’s also odd that they don’t. They could run the price change sites out of business tomorrow by having their own separate one.

        • Hey Banjo – you going to bring him in ? i was toying with the idea of kane and ritchie to Pog and Lukaku – would leave me with 0.1 itb!

        • Not sure I’d want to lose Kane, especially this week’, but as a pair then it is better.

        • Hi Neilos, I always had a rough plan to switch Sterling to Pogba if he’s back and firing, which he appears to be! I’m just not sure about having Kun as my only City cover.

      • I know what you mean Banjo. I want both pogba and lukaku but would mean losing kane

        • I’m with Init there Neilos. Not sure I’d want to lose Kane. Also, if I were doubling up on any teams attack not sure I’d go with United.
