Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. And so we are finally back and live with some FPL action. It’s a protracted one in that we go over 3 days from Saturday to Monday but also an odd one in so much as 8 of the games are done and dusted by Saturday evening. We get going with a cracker as Arsenal host Spurs at lunchtime on Saturday and then we see the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in action at 3pm. Man United bring the day to a close with an evening clash with Rafa and his Toon troops. Sunday sees just the one game at 4pm as Watford and West Ham are tasked with putting the ‘Super’ in Sunday. Fat chance! Brighton and Stoke ride in to save the day on Monday with a classic in the making. Yep, fat chance of that too! Enjoy Saturday while you can then.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Hazard vs Morata? I’m currently on Morata, but Hazard is looking on fire. If I wanted to switch I’d need to opt for a budget striker over a budget mid.
So, would you prefer Morata & Gross or Hazard & 5.6 striker (Niasse?!)? RLC is my bench fodder, so he can rotate with either Gross or Niasse?
Think I prefer Morata. I know Hazard looked much better yesterday just think Morata will be more consistent. Conte still takes Hazard off in games . Might just be I prefer strikers to midfielders
Hazard’s looked much better for a few games now! I always prefer a striker too, but isn’t Hazard pretty much playing up top these days? Sticking with Morata certainly makes life easier.
Yeah he is pretty much up top but it’s a lot of effort to swap them and it’s very sideways. Maybe both after Liverpool game

Would want to fit both as per current form and fixtures.just look at them post pool game. Aguero can go..have had enough. May be after the next game. Will take a -4 even

Richarlison and Gross falling at 0.30% and 0.4% respectively and they’ve not even played yet. Crazy ..Many Pogba and Hazard fans I believe

Anfield up next so not expecting massive points there, wouldnt take a hit to squeeze one in.Hoping for a payday with TOT v wba, after that I’m looking at fitting in Morata or Hazard , Pogba or Lukaku , Salah, Eriksen or Kane , Mci as essentials

Morning all, post saturday reflection…..cpt salah saved me. Kane let me down, jesus consistent as ever.
59 pts with 3 to play. All red arrows though. Dropped to 47k overall!
Possibly my worste fantasy start.
Yesterday was a no show for 3 of my players.
Gonez, Jones and Kun.
I have already made 1FT transfer from sterlinng to Pogba (just cant deal with havinrg players who i dont know will start),
I have one more free transfer, so will look to do Kun to Morata (again i know Kun will score but he aint gaurenteed to start)
Next will be to strngthen defence and do Vardy to Wilson to raise funds for that.
Thoughts?
Looks a solid side. Just the delta between luck and no luck, i.e the cpt dilemma yesterday, kane or salah.
I had Salah as skipper so he pretty much scored all my points. Kane has the potential armband for this week vs WB, Pulis seems in trouble

Looking at this team you’d swear I tried to do bad this week, i know I have a few left but this week was a killer. Had 2 ft and just both already. Sterling to salah, I know his next game is chealsa but can’t deal with another price rise and him scoring in this one has yo be written in the stars. I have also gone fab to pogba, granted fab did get 2 assists this week but pagba is back on fire already.
I am evening thinking of taking a -4 And getting morata for kun or kane. Both breaking the bank and wreaking my head. Am i made to do that?

With Pogba’s flying comeback and Kane’s poor form, do you think this would be a worthwhile change…
– Bakayoko and Kane OUT, Pogba and Morata IN
On current form it seems to make a lot of sense, but I’m worried that Kane’s upcoming fixtures are SO good and IF he does come into form I might regret getting rid of him.
My other option is:
– Tripper, Bakayoko and Aguero OUT, Mee, Pogba and Morata IN
(I am considering this alternative as neither Trippier or Aguero are guaranteed starters)
What do you guys think?
