Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. And so we are finally back and live with some FPL action. It’s a protracted one in that we go over 3 days from Saturday to Monday but also an odd one in so much as 8 of the games are done and dusted by Saturday evening. We get going with a cracker as Arsenal host Spurs at lunchtime on Saturday and then we see the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in action at 3pm. Man United bring the day to a close with an evening clash with Rafa and his Toon troops. Sunday sees just the one game at 4pm as Watford and West Ham are tasked with putting the ‘Super’ in Sunday. Fat chance! Brighton and Stoke ride in to save the day on Monday with a classic in the making. Yep, fat chance of that too! Enjoy Saturday while you can then.

  1. Is Oumar Niasse a viable budget option? If so he’d probably end up rotating with RLC. Probably one for Init?

    • Ah, good old Forrest! He’s an absolute donkey but I guess while he keeps scoring and while Unsworth is in charge he will keep playing. Other than poor Sandro (no idea where he’s gone or what he’s done) he’s pretty much our only striker. Only experienced one anyway. DCL and Lookman can play there in theory but are both a bit lightweight just yet. Rooney clearly isn’t a striker any more, he couldn’t strike a match these days.

      • I guess whether he’s an option will depend largely on the new boss. If he’s playing centre forward every game then surely he’s good value, even if it’s just to rotate with someone like RLC

        • Any new boss will still only have the same squad to play with for now though. Which may explain why nobody seems to want the job!

  2. Guys is Christensen going to keep his place at chelsea now, do we think?

    • You would have to think he will for now. He’s featured in 2 CS performances since Luiz was bombed out after the Roma debacle.

        • I did the following bud:
          Foster, otamendi, rosenior, Davis and eriksen to Speroni, Lowton, richarlison Francis and Salah. All worked out good apart from the Francis move. But it was a high price to pay.

  5. Just looking at Pogba’s price on FPL statistics and it says he unlocks on November 25th at 1-50pm. Can I buy him this week after the Europa game or do I have to wait until 25th which is after next weeks deadline anyway?
    Looking to do Vardy to Morata tonight with the price increase due, then maybe a -4 to sell Eriksen for Ramsey ,then another -4 next week for C lewin to Quaner to free funds for Cork to Pogba leaving 0.1 in the bank. That’s why I need to know about Pogba unlocking.

    • They’re talking about when his price unlocks in terms of being liable to price changes. He isn’t locked in terms of being able to buy him. First time user? 😉

      • Cheers Init,the man in the know. Use FPL all the time,but first time I have come across it with a player I am interested in.

    • Current Team have 1FT and 1.6m itb.

      • Not sure if Wilson’s form will stay as high as it was this weekend. Buy his price is key to the rest which is class
