Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. And so we are finally back and live with some FPL action. It’s a protracted one in that we go over 3 days from Saturday to Monday but also an odd one in so much as 8 of the games are done and dusted by Saturday evening. We get going with a cracker as Arsenal host Spurs at lunchtime on Saturday and then we see the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in action at 3pm. Man United bring the day to a close with an evening clash with Rafa and his Toon troops. Sunday sees just the one game at 4pm as Watford and West Ham are tasked with putting the ‘Super’ in Sunday. Fat chance! Brighton and Stoke ride in to save the day on Monday with a classic in the making. Yep, fat chance of that too! Enjoy Saturday while you can then.

  1. Evening all. Just having a look at possible wildcards – how does this one look? Squeaky bum time with no Kane but I like it, and it’s easy to bring in Pogba and Kane later if that’s the way the wind is blowing.

    • It’s a very good team. My concerns are the defenders yeah I like them but I think there are just too many risky Jones injury problems, Kenny does he keep his place, Christenson and Klaven the same thing. Aguero, Lukaku and Kane are usual captain picks depends if you are comfortable with that

      • In short, the Midfield is ok then? laugh 😉

        • To be honest I like all of it just came across a bit negative. I’d just put a sure thing defender in there instead to reduce the risk

      • Cheers smash. Defence is risky so will look at that.

        I think I might just throw the armband on salah every week since I’ve got the captain choice wrong pretty much every week with the usual suspects!

  2. Bit of an odd week so far. Got my best score in a while with only 9 players. Perhaps that’s where I’ve been going wrong?!

  3. 49 from 10 played seems to be the rough average.

    • Yeah think I’m ok with 57 I have GroB and Dunk to go. Should have done the Aguero to Lukaku move but oh well. A decent Brighton win will do me nicely

    • I’m seeing red arrows everywhere with 61. I’ve got 6 to come off the bench, and Gross to play, so hopefully there’ll be some green by this time tomorrow.

      • That’s what happens at the top. I’m in recovery

      • You’ll have a green by tomorrow, you have 6 points to come, so if they were currently added you would be at 15k, given that you also have gross I’d say you’ll likely end up 15k or higher with a nice green arrow! Well played!!

  4. Scored 85 points despite Kane(C) blanking. Went from 34K to 7K.

      • Thanks! I’m in foreign territority. My highest have been around 200K.

        • Well I’d say stay calm and collected and you could do very well this year!

        • Yeah trying to think out all my moves. Make smart choices and use my remaining chips carefully

      • My aim was 100K but now aiming at 1K. Would you guys bring in Lukaku or Morata for Aguero?

        • Already did! Augero for Morata.

  5. So what happens when one has the same frustrating number of points as the game average of 49?

    One begins plotting early to have strategic transfers throughout the week to try to improve one’s situation but ends up taking a -8 for next week when the current GW hasnt even ended.

    Love this game!

  6. 74 with 2 left to play..Kiko did good for me. Have Gross and Dunk left. Won’t mind a nil-nil score tonight.
