Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. And so we are finally back and live with some FPL action. It’s a protracted one in that we go over 3 days from Saturday to Monday but also an odd one in so much as 8 of the games are done and dusted by Saturday evening. We get going with a cracker as Arsenal host Spurs at lunchtime on Saturday and then we see the likes of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all in action at 3pm. Man United bring the day to a close with an evening clash with Rafa and his Toon troops. Sunday sees just the one game at 4pm as Watford and West Ham are tasked with putting the ‘Super’ in Sunday. Fat chance! Brighton and Stoke ride in to save the day on Monday with a classic in the making. Yep, fat chance of that too! Enjoy Saturday while you can then.

  1. I just can’t seem to get anything right this season. 39 with 2 to go. No Salah has been killing me. I was close to taking a hit to bring him in for Eriksen on Friday but didn’t. Now he’s risen .2 in a couple of days. Trying to play conservatively and it’s killing me. Thinking somebhits are in order over the next few weeks to get the team I want. A few RMTs incoming. Stay tuned smile

      Exact same issue with Salah and Eriksen. Wanted to avoid a hit…but got hit back in other ways…

      Just did a -8…possibly too rash…but…who knows…smile

  2. Do I need a wildcard?

    Need to improve defence and mid but how?
    Want to keep kane, Salah, de gea but the rest in open to changes .

    Any help much appreciated

    • Would downgrade lukaku (Wilson) to get funds for de Bruyne (sterling)and pogba (Ritchie) and jones (hegazi) or is that a waste?

      • Don’t think I’d be in a rush to get KDB in

        • Yeah Hazard. Well I did a couple of weeks ago. Quite similar situation to you as in needed to swap whole defence. I believe it has to be used in next 6 weeks or so but big injuries could happen at any time

      I dont think that requires a wildcard.

      Ritchie to Zaha or Richarlison seems the obvious move.

    Had a few nightmare GW’s and rank down to 300k overall..
    Very close to pressing the WC button here – attached current and first draft WC team. Thoughts?

    • Trippier could be a rotation problem, prefer Wilson to Murray, the rest looks sound.

    • You could wait to see if Luiz comes back for champions league but it’s looking likely you might have to take a hit for the long term. Rest looks decent at least
