Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13.

You’ve had your break, now it’s time to return to the fun of FPL as we kick off with a London derby of epic(ly) bad proportions if current form is to go by as West Ham host Spurs for the lunchtime kick off. Six 3pm matches follow with Arsenal welcoming Southampton, Wolves travelling to Bournemouth, on fire Leicester taking on Brighton, Palace hosting Liverpool, Everton doing battle with Norwich and Watford entertaining Burnley. The evening kick off should at least be fun as free scoring Chelsea go to the ever generous defence of Man City.

Sunday sees Man Utd trying to break down the wall of Sheffield while Lundstram looks to walk past Maguire. And then we finish off with a Monday night special as Brucey returns to Villa Park with his Magpies.

The games in full…

  1. All

Early transfer thoughts; thinking PEA & Mount our for Jimenez and Son – what you reckon?

    • That sounds pretty solid to me. I passed up on Jiménez but, as expected, he grabbed his customary goal again. So consistent. Attacking coverage (Alli, Son, Kane) from Spurs looks wise too.

      Coming from Arsenal fans… :big-lol:

    • Sure, but hmm… what about Pierre to Lacazette? Mount to Martial/Pulisic/etc. (or keep even)

  2. Forget FPL for a couple of hours and get BBC2 on now lads.

  3. Thinking keeping Sterling instead of KdB might have been a mistake

    • There’s a very simple solution if you still believe that (I kept KDB but also have doubts) in a few Gameweeks’ time.

      • Yes it would be an easy switch next week if I want (which I partly why I went that way) but just feels like a wasted transfer as I could’ve done it this week! Let’s see

  4. Well I somewhat tempted to bin Salah and Sterling for Mane and Son. But let’s see what this week brings. Vardy captain saved me this week.

  5. Hi all! Hope having good GW and plenty of green arrows!
Been mulling over moves all International break and finally decided….I need help!
What are your opinions on Sterling vs KDB? Have both but got 1 eye on gw18 when Liverpool don’t play and getting rid of 1 of them can fund a stronger 15 to give cover.
Also slight worry over Mount atm as well as having Kelly and Connolly who I aim to upgrade.

1- Get rid of KDB to Martial, also funds Kelly to Clark, Connolly to Ings and potentially Mount to Willian
2- Get rid of Sterling to Martial, also funds Kelly to Tomori/Aurier, Connolly to Jimenez and Mount to Pulisic
    3- Stick or something else!?

Both 1 & 2 will leave me with bit of a benching headache as will have a pretty solid 15 but think it could be worth it with Liverpool’s bgw coming up and sets up nicely for any future bgws/dgws and players potentially rested/having rough fixtures.

All thoughts and opinions be well appreciated
    Cheers

    • Options 1&2

    • I’d keep KDB from the pair. So whichever option aids that!

      • Cheers Init, Sterling does allow better upgrades elsewhere and also won’t lose money on him so can buy back if needed!
What do you think of the last picture team …any changes you’d make?

  6. Everton bottom at Christmas? It certainly looks like the end of Silva pretty soo
