Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13.

You’ve had your break, now it’s time to return to the fun of FPL as we kick off with a London derby of epic(ly) bad proportions if current form is to go by as West Ham host Spurs for the lunchtime kick off. Six 3pm matches follow with Arsenal welcoming Southampton, Wolves travelling to Bournemouth, on fire Leicester taking on Brighton, Palace hosting Liverpool, Everton doing battle with Norwich and Watford entertaining Burnley. The evening kick off should at least be fun as free scoring Chelsea go to the ever generous defence of Man City.

Sunday sees Man Utd trying to break down the wall of Sheffield while Lundstram looks to walk past Maguire. And then we finish off with a Monday night special as Brucey returns to Villa Park with his Magpies.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Hey guys,
Hope everyone had a great GW and didn’t make the mistake of captaining Sterling.
Would like your thoughts on transfers for next week
    1FT and 0 itb

    A) Heaton > Gazzaniga (need to do that transfer ASAP before Gazza rises in price)
    B) Sterling and Rico > Salah and B. Williams (assuming Salah is fit)
    C) Any other suggestions?

    • Also, thoughts on Sterlings shot at more points now that Aguero is injured? Or is Jesus going to be hogging it all ?

      • I’m doing something similar to B myself. I also captained sterling at the weekend. I think I’m going to bring in Salah for him now though. I already brought Williams in to fund this. I’ll see how they go during the week.

        • Well your keeper is definitely better than mine. So that’s one less thing for you to worry about.
I’m stuck on Heaton ever since Ryan started showing form

        • Doc, what’s Heaton done wrong lately? He’s just provided consecutive 9-points hauls, and Burnley have been solid at home. Ryan did well for me but Heaton’s almost matched him. Although, with that said, I did bring in Gazza before last weekend…

        • Hmmm…Heaton? Burnley? 😉

        • I need a doctor this evening!

        • Thanks for clearing that up. I’d kill to have Pope :p

  2. Pep has said that Aguero will miss the derby which is GW16.

    • Jesus can be a good differential !

    • How sure can we be? If it is certain that he misses the derby, then I think I will swap him for Aguero. What do you say?

      • We can’t be any sure than Pep saying he’ll miss the derby! Unless you think he’s telling porkies? smile

  3. Afternoon

    Which do you prefer:

    A. Mount and PEA to Son and Jimenez (-4)
    B. Saka and PEA to Alli and Jimenez (-4)
    C. Mount and PEA to Alli and Jesus (-4)

  4. Villa v Newcastle

  5. Evening All,

60 points with McGinn to go for this GW, 15 points above average so can’t really complain!

    How was everyone else’s GW?

Thinking of going -4 this week:

Aguero to Kane – Kun is injured and Kane will pick up form under the special one
Digne to Robertson – Everton are currently very poor with a nightmare run ahead, I don’t have any Liverpool mids so hoping Robbo & AAT make up for Mane & Salah

    Thoughts much appreciated!

    • Possibly overkill on the -4? I agree entirely on the transfer itself but you don’t massively need it for this week, you’ve got plenty of others who can and should play.

      • Thanks @inittowinit I think it’s not having a pool mid is worrying me!

    • Aguero to Kane sounds good but I’d leave it there, as there’s no need for a -4.

    • I’d only do the -4 if you’re worried about Digne dropping in price, you’re fit for fight without taking him out I think smile

Also like Laca, Firmino or Rash as options as they leaves funds for further upgrades of your mid

  6. McGinn has stopped giving us returns, dang it

    • Annoying. 2-0 and no returns. But he’s a good one to have over the festive period.

      • How so? I think his fixtures look a bit challenging :/

        • He has Norwich on Boxing Day, sandwiched between Southampton and Watford. Can’t get much better than that.

    • And now a disallowed assist for McGinn….there’s still hope…. :dash:

      • What’s going on with newcastle, have they already given up? smile

        • A different Newcastle need to come out of the tunnel after halftime, otherwise this could get embarrassing for them.

      • At least give me the clean sheet point dag nammit
