Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13. Here comes the festive period and the quick turnarounds. This gameweek gets rolling on Tuesday with two fixtures. The recently derailed Chelsea play a struggling Wolves side. That game is followed by Manchester City taking out their derby frustrations on poor ol’ West Brom.
Wednesday grabs our attention a bit more with six games. Nicely divided up with three 6pm games and three 8pm games. The first three fixtures include Arsenal welcoming the surprising Saints, Leeds matching up versus Toon and Leicester tangling with Everton. The three late games sees Fulham play Brighton, Liverpool and Spurs battle it out in a clash for first and West Ham play host to Palace.
Thursday brings an end to the gameweek. Villa goes up against Burnley in the early game and Manchester United pay a visit to last place Sheffield United to close us out.

Looking at Spurs’ Christmas fixtures I’d make having both a priority.

I’ve gambled on their next two fixtures being (on paper) awkward and so feel less tense about losing them.

In a 3/4/3 Wilson is ok to have – or see if Ings is affordable.
I felt a nervous twinge in my balls when I moved Kane out this week. Their next two games are awkward but winnable and then after that very winnable. But we’re in the Xmas period and there will be rest, and injuries, though Kane always seems to play.

I brought him in as a short-term punt, seeing Leeds and Fulham as ok fixtures.
Depends I suppose on what else you plan and is there any other better for that sort of price? Getting him enabled a beefed up midfield for me and it’s an odd season and maybe he’ll get something v Leicester. But yes, of course, Kane has more appeal on every possible level really. Game v Fulham as well.

I’ve learnt to pay almost zero attention to my score until after the GW is over. The two players you have to come have, given their opposition, every chance of getting you to a decent score. Just forget how (relatively) bad your score is now because what it is now is not what it will be.

It’s an 11 point lead over my H2H opponent but the problem is he has the same players with Bruno as captain.
