Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 13. Here comes the festive period and the quick turnarounds. This gameweek gets rolling on Tuesday with two fixtures. The recently derailed Chelsea play a struggling Wolves side. That game is followed by Manchester City taking out their derby frustrations on poor ol’ West Brom.

Wednesday grabs our attention a bit more with six games. Nicely divided up with three 6pm games and three 8pm games. The first three fixtures include Arsenal welcoming the surprising Saints, Leeds matching up versus Toon and Leicester tangling with Everton. The three late games sees Fulham play Brighton, Liverpool and Spurs battle it out in a clash for first and West Ham play host to Palace.

Thursday brings an end to the gameweek. Villa goes up against Burnley in the early game and Manchester United pay a visit to last place Sheffield United to close us out.

The games in full…

  1. Missed deadline. Bruno campo. What else could go wrong? Best part about this gameweek is that it’s almost over.

  2. Squeezing in loads of big hitters doesn’t appear to be working as well as everyone thought. Maybe a more balanced team is required.

  3. Hi All,
I have McCarthy as keeper, 1FT, is it worth getting Martinez as Southampton play City next week. I could also get Fabianski as I have 5.1 to spend, he will have double in 19.
    Or shall I save transfer!

    • I’d save it – he could rack up a few save points. Southampton aren’t in bad form, either.

    • I’d save the transfer and have 2FTs for the Boxing Day fixtures. I’m stuck with McCarthy too. City haven’t been on fire either in the PL – they’ve only scored two goals on three occssions and only more than that versus Burnley (five).

    • McCarthy also has a double

      • Thanks to all, I will save it, Gear you are right McCarthy has a double too.

  4. I have 2 FT and .3 ITB. Some options I am thinking.

    A. Ryan>Martinez and Konsa>Coufal
    B. Ryan>McCarthy and Konsa>Taylor
    C. Ryan>Meslier and Konsa>Targett
    D. Some combination of the above based on any suggestions you all have

Leeds have a nice run over the holidays so that is my thinking on Meslier. So does Burnley. A peeny for your thoughts.

    • If you’re thinking Burnley then how about a tear-drenched reunion with Pope?

      • There just isn’t enough funds for that move. That would leave me with 4.0 for a Konsa replacement and I just don’t see any one of value at that price.

        • No, sadly, it is seldom you get someone who’s going to tear the roof off for 4. You may as well get Douglas at 3.8m – phenomenal value (for someone if you’re lucky you may get a sight of on the training ground, setting up the traffic cones).

  5. Bruno subbed out. Time for an 12 point hit.

  6. Hmmmm
