Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14. We are entering a busy FPL week with no less than 3 game-weeks covering the next 10 days. Game-week 14 kicks off tonight with a visit across the Severn for Wolves – Cardiff will be sniffing blood after watching Huddersfield tame Nuno’s pups last week.

Saturday then brings us six matches – first up we have five 3pm kick-offs as Palace host Burnley, Brighton go to Huddersfield, Leicester welcome Watford, Bournemouth try and stop Pep’s rampant machine and Arnie and his Hammers limp up to Newcastle.

The evening match sees Jose coming up against someone worse off than himself as United travel to Southampton.

Sunday sees our final three matches of GW14 before thoughts turn to the quick turnaround to GW15!
And it’s Derby Day all round as Chelsea host Fulham, Spurs go to Arsenal before Liverpool and Everton wrap things up for us.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

  2. You couldn’t make this up: Villa’s keeper’s Nyland wikipage : He is known for smearing butter on his gloves at the start of every game to let in several unnecessary goals!!!!

          I have double Hammers attack – Anderson and Arnie.
          Anderson scored today, and Arnie got an assist.

          Our fixtures are good till start of January. We played awesome today. Nothing wrong with a double WH attack. The 2 players got me 15 points including bonuses. And with Fab in goal, I got an extra 8 points, so from WH players alone, I got 23 points, so dont count them out.

        • You guys looked good today Hammers, Anderson and Arnie looked very good as did little Pea. I wasn’t even upset when I walked out the ground! 3-0 was a bit fortunate but no complaints!

        • Thanks Rosco. We sounded shaky in parts, but glad we won, got the clean sheet, and that my FF players got me points. Sorry about your boys though. They will be ok I am sure.

        • Nah you looked good, very impressed actually, I’ve already got Arnie but Anderson looks an amazing player and one I’m going to try and bring in ASAP !

        • Re read my reply Hammers…. i said i didnt think doubling up on west Ham was too much…

        • Agreed Rosco. Wanted to bring Anderson in when I did my WC. He has come good over the last month or so. Shame Yarmolenko is injured otherwise we would be even better.

  4. What are Haz owners who don’t have Sterling doing? He scored, price likely going up again, but so likely he’s benched midweek?

    • Would love to bring Sterling in for Haz…but it would take 8ph. Feel Aguero to Kane more important and don’t have the guts for an both. What are you doing?

      • Not worth it either as he is likely to be benched.

      • I hope Sterling will be benched whereas Haz could play and make the swap for the weekend, Aguero needs to go… Not so sure on Kane though, Son could be better Spurs asset to have… Will see…

  5. Well the match was garbage but at least Arnie got me some points! Anderson looks very good. Nice to see I’ll be getting Wilson off the bench for Kun!

    • Rosco, I thought your lot actually played decently well. 3-0 dorsnt feel fair. Your thoughts?

      • Yeah I’d agree, put it this way I normally only get pissed off when we don’t try and play shit and I’m actually alright with it! West Ham we’re just too quick on the counter!
        Move on to next week!
