Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14.
It’s a tight and congested turnaround this week with all ten games condensed over Saturday and Sunday before GW15 then sprawls out over most of the following midweek before we go again next weekend.
Newcastle and Man City get us going on Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off with both having looked a bit lacklustre in their previous PL games, the difference being that the former lost and the latter still won. The traditional 3pm start time on Saturday sees four games with Burnley ‘entertaining’ Crystal Palace, Chelsea scripting Pellegrini’s P45, Liverpool checking their VAR panel are on message vs Brighton and Spurs wondering how many they will concede before scoring more against Bournemouth. Saturday itself ends with an odd one as the recently hapless Saints host the recently hapless Hornets, it’ll probably end up being 4-4 and the game of the season.
Sunday sees the sack race continue and Emery is in pole position at 2pm as he takes his ‘team’ to Norwich, whilst at the same time the genuine game of the week may unfold at Molineux as Wolves host Sheffield United. The GW ends with two 4.30pm games as Vardy and co. look to seal the fate of Silva and Ole will be hoping that Villa don’t add to the nails in his media constructed coffin.
The games in full…

63 points for me. How’s everyone done
Nice. Sh*t week here but I’ve had a few good ones so can’t complain and we move on quickly enough!
60 for me, very happy with that!
56…nothing to dance about.
55 (-4) for me for FPL but a 62 score in Fanteam’s Monster Week gave me a whopping £ 44 ! That’s for free and from the draw made here last Friday between everyone that applied for it! Thank you FF247 towers and FanTeam!
Congrats DMC. Good for you mate
You came 242nd and they gave you €44.23? I’d have given you a slap
Decent week considering Tammy on the bench. I should have played Kelly over Rico but oh well. I’ll take my 75 and call it. What’s everyone doing with Tammy?
I was going to get rid before his price dropped further but, looking at my 4-5-1 formation and, more importantly, the personnel in it, I’m happy to leave him on my bench. May just do Button to someone who can stand in while Pope has these tough games.
Completely forgot to do my team again so pretty happy with 56 points, Cantwell came off the bench this week to help out.
Gonna try link my team up, thinking Sterling out for Son as my only move?
Does anybody know if Martin is likely to keep playing for WHU after their good result yesterday? He was my cheap £4m bench GK who’s now sitting there with 10pts mocking me (although, tbf, even if I’d known Martin was playing, I wouldn’t have fielded him away at CHE over Patricio at home to SHU).
Patricio has 6 blanks since I brought him in, so want to get rid. Just wondering if I can use Martin instead? Or I’m thinking Patricio to Guaita. Any thoughts?
I dont see why he wouldn’t start. Maybe even put him in and if he starts, great. If not the Rui will.
Agree with Matt you could easily just play him and if not Patricio would come in, it’s the same fixture by the way
Although I’d be tempted by Guaita or Henderson, both have great fixtures! Perhaps Guaita as you probably have Lord Lundy already
Although Hendo is cheaper, has better PPG, more saves, more points, Sheffield have more cleanies and less goals conceded than Palace… So I’m looking at Hendo even though it would be a double up with Lundy, but the fixtures are delicious!
He’ll stay in now I’d imagine. Until Fab is back anyway. Apparently he did really well. And a lovely moment between him and his Dad!

Nice story! :good:
I watched a lot of the game. When I saw him crying at the end I was wondering why. I didn’t realise who his dad was until this morning.
Thanks folks. I think I’ll field Martin midweek and hope he starts and that he repeats what he did this GW
I was on Hendo as my Patricio replacement, but Guaita’s fixtures caught my eye. I will probably roll the FT and see what happens midweek, and then have 2FT for next weekend. Gives me longer to mull over the Patricio replacement.
All the games this week on shown on amazon prime video
What? FFS!
Yup I just signed up for my 30 day trial and my Mrs has been given the green light for her annual Boxing Day shopping trip (alone) to Manchester! (All Boxing Day games on prime too) Happy days!!
It’s the future! Even better if you already have Prime!
What exactly is it called? I only see apps for various broadcasting stations.
Thanks
Prime video
Yep about time I got to use the Mrs Amazon A/C. Why she pays for that I don’t know. Prob so she can watch Greys Anatomy over and over again
