Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14.
It’s a tight and congested turnaround this week with all ten games condensed over Saturday and Sunday before GW15 then sprawls out over most of the following midweek before we go again next weekend.

Newcastle and Man City get us going on Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off with both having looked a bit lacklustre in their previous PL games, the difference being that the former lost and the latter still won. The traditional 3pm start time on Saturday sees four games with Burnley ‘entertaining’ Crystal Palace, Chelsea scripting Pellegrini’s P45, Liverpool checking their VAR panel are on message vs Brighton and Spurs wondering how many they will concede before scoring more against Bournemouth. Saturday itself ends with an odd one as the recently hapless Saints host the recently hapless Hornets, it’ll probably end up being 4-4 and the game of the season.

Sunday sees the sack race continue and Emery is in pole position at 2pm as he takes his ‘team’ to Norwich, whilst at the same time the genuine game of the week may unfold at Molineux as Wolves host Sheffield United. The GW ends with two 4.30pm games as Vardy and co. look to seal the fate of Silva and Ole will be hoping that Villa don’t add to the nails in his media constructed coffin.

The games in full…

  1. Jetro last on my bench aggghhh

    • In fairness, you were never going to play him against City.

      • Jetro was always ridiculed in the Netherlands.

        • Two goals and two assist is pretty decent for a defender. :big_boss:

        • Yeah you said this before, he’s having a decent season though, now scoring with his right foot!

        • Scoring versus Liverpool and City… I’d sign for that. Hehe

      • Unless he came in as an emergency substitution I guess! He can hope for a late withdrawal somewhere in his lineup (and amongst his subs!) smile

  2. Whom else sold Sterling this week? :dash:

    • Me sad

    • I did it last week :slaphead:

      • Lol. I would be okay with it if I had sold him last week. Last week I capped him and he did shyt all.

    • Nope

    • I would have, but then Tammy got injured.

      • Same for me, was all set to take Tammy and Sterling out for Jesus and Son for a hit, but basically Smash told me to just get Jiménez for Tammy, cheers for that Smashers!!! :drinks:

    • I’ve got both him and Willems hehe doubt I’ll get this lucky later on though

  3. KDB is looking like assisting the assist.

  4. Surprisingly good first half from Newcastle

    • They are on a roll now…improved in last few games.

    • Almiron flatters to deceive on so many occasions. Finally an assist but he is not premiership quality

      • Not really sure…but in his Atlanta days he has been superb. I believe he is hurrying too much instead of holding it for a while and trying to play the one touch game which does not suit NEWC. I think he will be good fit for SOU with Redmond, JWP and Ings around him….or even in Arsenal (lacking speed in middle of the park).

        • Hey GM, you may be right that he would fit better into another team. Having watched him many times for Newcastle I cannot get excited.

        • Nah mate, he doesn’t look up..

        • Guess it was just easier in MLS, not that much time in the prem I think…

      • He was a top scorer for goals and assists in MLS with Atlanta two years ago but then discovered that playing in EPL is a different ball game smile

  5. How’s Jesus playing?

  6. Apparently West Ham have made a change in goal. No surprise really.
