Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14.
It’s a tight and congested turnaround this week with all ten games condensed over Saturday and Sunday before GW15 then sprawls out over most of the following midweek before we go again next weekend.
Newcastle and Man City get us going on Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off with both having looked a bit lacklustre in their previous PL games, the difference being that the former lost and the latter still won. The traditional 3pm start time on Saturday sees four games with Burnley ‘entertaining’ Crystal Palace, Chelsea scripting Pellegrini’s P45, Liverpool checking their VAR panel are on message vs Brighton and Spurs wondering how many they will concede before scoring more against Bournemouth. Saturday itself ends with an odd one as the recently hapless Saints host the recently hapless Hornets, it’ll probably end up being 4-4 and the game of the season.
Sunday sees the sack race continue and Emery is in pole position at 2pm as he takes his ‘team’ to Norwich, whilst at the same time the genuine game of the week may unfold at Molineux as Wolves host Sheffield United. The GW ends with two 4.30pm games as Vardy and co. look to seal the fate of Silva and Ole will be hoping that Villa don’t add to the nails in his media constructed coffin.
The games in full…

3 out of 3
Jesus subbed. For those who took a punt. Science always wins people.
Now Jo Shelvey makes it 2-2, another good one.
Superb strike by Shelvey
Damnit – I tipped Shelvey to score the first goal, not the last! Gotta keep on reminding young Jonjo!
As a foreign viewer I have admired City (AND Liverpool!) for the quality of their play over the past few years – but we’re all human…even the boys in pale blue. They’ll come back into confidence, but they may have ditched the championship before then! Oh well – it IS still a beautiful game and all the best to Newcastle, as they’ve done what was necessary. Anyway, got the points on Sterlo.
You are based in France AJW? Whereabouts?
In the French outback! Downunder the Larzac mate!
What about yourself Leprechaun? Don’t tell me you live in Ireland! Have been there a few times – looking for a good pint! Funny, you can always find one over there! And a chat!
Very nice there! That’s properly remote!
Yeah it’s a good place for a lost Aussie to look after his sheep! It was hell getting them past customs at Roissy Charles de Gaulle, as the ‘Douanes’ told me they had the same accent as me (c.a.d. the sheep) . They don’t take kindly to the neighbours calling them ‘moutons’ though – they think that they’re being treated as just lumps of meat. Ah the ‘Ovines’ and languages – I think they’ll never get it!
Nice area – but not a typical place to find a foreigner
I am in Singapore – far away from the home shores
Liverpool are champs.
And City are chumps!
wouldnt say that Raz yet
No, there’s always Leicester and the boys from Chelsea lurking!
We ain’t winning the league . It would take some choke from Liverpool now, or some effort from Leicester
Razi, do I need to remind you that City were 10 points behind pool after the first 20 games last year and still went to win it :wink2:
We’re not. It’s only November!
this is VVD’s weekend now!
May be a VVD bandwagon now for people who can’t afford TAA or Robo.
The only reason I still have the VVD in my team is that I have had to look for urgent changes to make :big-lol:
Wow just wow. Two Taa assists. I knew he would come good. Two VVD goals as well. As soon as I saw VVD goal, I knew Taa assist. Hehe.
