Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14.
It’s a tight and congested turnaround this week with all ten games condensed over Saturday and Sunday before GW15 then sprawls out over most of the following midweek before we go again next weekend.
Newcastle and Man City get us going on Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off with both having looked a bit lacklustre in their previous PL games, the difference being that the former lost and the latter still won. The traditional 3pm start time on Saturday sees four games with Burnley ‘entertaining’ Crystal Palace, Chelsea scripting Pellegrini’s P45, Liverpool checking their VAR panel are on message vs Brighton and Spurs wondering how many they will concede before scoring more against Bournemouth. Saturday itself ends with an odd one as the recently hapless Saints host the recently hapless Hornets, it’ll probably end up being 4-4 and the game of the season.
Sunday sees the sack race continue and Emery is in pole position at 2pm as he takes his ‘team’ to Norwich, whilst at the same time the genuine game of the week may unfold at Molineux as Wolves host Sheffield United. The GW ends with two 4.30pm games as Vardy and co. look to seal the fate of Silva and Ole will be hoping that Villa don’t add to the nails in his media constructed coffin.

Just tinkering and planning ahead a bit. What’s wrong with this team. It’s not my team but something that i’m looking at for the future. What would you do different?
Assuming it’s a potential WC then Jimenez for Rashford.
It’s not wildcard, it’s 4 transfers from my team now and i got 2ft’s so it could be done for -4 before next weekend since there’s a midweak gw coming up.
I don’t really know why but i’m not a fan of Jimenez, don’t think he will score enough. That is only based on a feeling and nothing else…
He’s not a ‘hat-trick guy’, but then again who is at that price. He’s bang in form anyway. Funnily enough though I feel the exact same about Rashford, I just don’t fancy him as a player. And yet he’s got more points than Jimenez.
Rashford is a big part of why i’m doing this in the first place.
Those gut feelings is probably what makes fpl fun isn’t it?

He’s Welbeck MK2 for me. Personally I wouldn’t be falling over a hit for him but yeah his points are stacking up.

So in order to see England with my Euro 2020 semi final ticket I need them to win Group D, beat the runner up of Group F (group of death) and then win their Quarter. What could go wrong.

Expect the only interesting games from group stage to be there, this Euro with 24 teams and 3rd qualified is a joke.
They are ruining these competitions, just to make more money.
Group F is certainly going to be a cracker! I pity the minnows who win the play-off to win the 4th spot and then get pummeled every match!
Yeah, the 3rd-placed team qualifying makes a mockery of the group stages.
Good luck, beno! England are joint favourites after all :good: . Group-wise, it’s great news for England even if the latter stages look tricky (just like usual!). It’ll be another roller coaster ride, no doubt :yahoo: .
They’ve just diluted it to match the World Cup, whereby the group games are fairly standard and the comp doesn’t start until the last 16 / 8. Barring the odd shock. More games = more coverage in more countries = more money. That’s all they care about.
The first European Championships I remember are in 1988. Only 2 groups of four. Every game mattered.
