Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. Live Match Chat on a Tuesday? Surprise! Well, we hope not… Live Match Chat on a Friday last time did seem to flummox a few site regulars though. This despite many, many mentions of the early deadline as well as a bloody big countdown timer on site with not only the date on it but an actual countdown timer, who knew. And these are site members who come on and use the facilities. Now this is not to denigrate them at all, we feel for them and hope they do better in future. It’s more to point out that if they are missing such tricks then just imagine how many of your your mini-league rivals, who may pay even less attention, will probably drop similar balls. Lovely! The moral being… don’t even mention it in passing to them, simply rock up in work the next day and ask them who they transferred in.
These midweek games are like speed dating compared to our usual drawn out affairs. Tuesday sees four of them, it begins at 7.45pm and will be done and dusted by 10pm. Bournemoth v Huddersfield, Brighton v Palace and West Ham v Cardiff all kick off our short week followed 15 minutes later by Watford v Man City. And that’s Tuesday over.
Wednesday sees the remaining 6 games and again they will be over in the blink of a fantasy eye. Burnley v Liverpool, Everton v Newcastle, Fulham v Leicester and Wolves v Chelsea are our ‘early’ ones, followed by Man United v Arsenal and then Spurs hopefully putting the final icing on the cake of a decent gameweek by sealing Mark Hughes’ departure at 8pm.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I took a 4ph to do Hazard -> Sterling, Laporte -> Duffy and Aguero -> Kane. For my efforts, two of the three have collectively earned me -2. Lovely. Juuuust lovely. Cap Kane is my last hope; VC was Sterling!!

Starting to have real problems with these Wilsons and Frasers… They haven’t really scored well in tough fixtures, well Fraser has nothing in tough fixtures and Wilson has two goals against United and City, and there are bad fixtures coming… They don’t have that many good fixtures to come before GW29… So, are you getting them in hoping for great hauls in easy fixtures or avoiding until GW29 as they probably won’t do much in those tough fixtures? It’s a real pickle!

Same here, I will probably do the same unless I somehow manage to get Kane…. But no doubt even then Wilson would actually outscore Kane

Arguably Bournemouth have the worst set of fixtures of any side.
However a few jittery, jerking knees may see Wilson slide into the cockpit Murray / Arnie had to bale out of earlier.
I expect we’ll see owners keep and non-owners scratch their beards and wave their pipes around, trying to figure it all out.
I’ll be keeping Fraser for a while. At his price he’s doing exactly what he says on the tin.

Salah has 86pts this season, Fraser has 84pts, although you couldn’t even get 1 Salah with 2 Frasers
He’s doing a lot more thus far, it’s unreal and managers (like me) who haven’t owned him are losers…

You win some, you lose some. I missed Martial’s golden run of a few weeks ago. I still haven’t got round to owning Hazard. I’m sure the Kane(c) this week will fail dismally.
