Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. FPL seems like we’re back to some sort of normality. No we’re not talking rotation worries or half your bench coming into play – or not if you own Coutinho or Sane. No, Sir, no. This week we welcome back two of our favourite characters. The Lord has risen and against the odds appears to be seen first at The Hawthorns. Yes, Pardew is back! We will again get to witness the flippant pressers and the self-obsessed post-match interviews. Now if that wasn’t enough excitement as we get into the Advent season then we have been bestowed another gift. It not be gold. Nor frankincense. Not even myrrh. It is of course Mr Wrigley himself. Big Sam! It’s all too much. The dancing duo back on our screens. In our hearts. And on some dartboards. Our tango’ing twosome come strictly back into our world with a home game each on Saturday. The Lord leads his Baggies vs his old cronies of Crystal Palace while Big Fat Sam presides over Everton’s hosting of Huddersfield. Or ‘uddersfield as our mate will surely refer to them on Saturday. Phew. What a day. What a time to be alive. Life doesn’t get much better.
Unless you are of course Man City, who face West Ham on Sunday afternoon. At home. A West Ham side who were Rooney’d in midweek. Load up and fire. We’re fairly sure the leaders won’t need a last minute Raheem special on the Lord’s Day.
Before that there is of course plenty more. Chelsea kick off our game-week Saturday lunchtime as the Toon come to town. Then there are six 3pm matches. Aside from West Brom and Everton’s matches we have Salahpool travelling to Brighton, Leicester hosting Burnley, struggling Stoke host even more struggling Swansea and Spurs are relieved to leave North London but only get as far as Watford.
The evening fare sees the Bus Driver take on the Specialist in Fire as Man United visit Arsenal.
And then on Sunday before City hammer the Hammers we have a south coast derby as Southampton swim along the shore to Bournemouth.
Loads to get excited about.

Thanks for the suggestions! I know Aguero is a rotation risk but it doesn’t sit right with me only relying on Sterling from the City attack. I would rather have Sterling and Aguero than Hazard and Morata. Would it be worth doing Morata and Surman for Hazard and Calvert-Lewin?

I’ve been considering it but I can’t bring myself to do it yet. I’d give them a few more weeks especially due to Spurs’ fixtures

Fixtures are irrelevant if the team is not firing.

That’s a good point only thing is if Spurs click in one of these games they are the type of fixtures that could end up being a cricket score and it might kick them on a bit, you know?

Yeah I completely get it. I’ve just had a proper look at their fixtures and it would take a brave manager to sell him.
But how long have we said that for this season? Maybe we are missing what is right in front of us and they are just struggling this season. It happens.

Yeah I’m not brave enough to sell him yet. Maybe after Jan 1st if they still aren’t clicking and Kane is still doing feck all then I will get rid of him easily but until then I will give him more of a chance. I’ve just got rid of my other Spurs coverage so hopefully that doesn’t back fire now haha

Evening all,
Another poor week so far for me. Pogba red didn’t help.
Current squad is below. Need to sort pogba but really want hazard. I’m thinking one of the following.
Pogba to Ramsay and maybe Wilson to firmino
Otamendi to Kenny, pogba to hazard
Mustafi to marriapa, pogba to hazard
Which one do you think is best? I’m thinking 3 tbh

To offer an alternative, Otamendi to Kenny, as long as Mustafi is fit. Kenny seems nailed on in a team which is improving defensively, and has more attacking threat IMHO

In this game, I am all about hits. And I’ve taken none this week and messed up majorily. So 1 or 2 hits are just fine.
Makes me enjoy the game more, having hte players I like.
Plus, the City players are anightmare with rotation risks infront of a CL game.

Yea I get how annoying the whole rotation thing is. I’ll be surprised if Kun starts tomorrow. I’d actually prefer Hazard over any City player right now, so I can see why you’re tempted. Just seems crazy having no City though.

Very interesting Init. I’d be curious what that stat is over a much smaller period of time e.g. over 3 or 6 GW’s. Suspect the net gain would be a lot higher
