Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. FPL seems like we’re back to some sort of normality. No we’re not talking rotation worries or half your bench coming into play – or not if you own Coutinho or Sane. No, Sir, no. This week we welcome back two of our favourite characters. The Lord has risen and against the odds appears to be seen first at The Hawthorns. Yes, Pardew is back! We will again get to witness the flippant pressers and the self-obsessed post-match interviews. Now if that wasn’t enough excitement as we get into the Advent season then we have been bestowed another gift. It not be gold. Nor frankincense. Not even myrrh. It is of course Mr Wrigley himself. Big Sam! It’s all too much. The dancing duo back on our screens. In our hearts. And on some dartboards. Our tango’ing twosome come strictly back into our world with a home game each on Saturday. The Lord leads his Baggies vs his old cronies of Crystal Palace while Big Fat Sam presides over Everton’s hosting of Huddersfield. Or ‘uddersfield as our mate will surely refer to them on Saturday. Phew. What a day. What a time to be alive. Life doesn’t get much better.

Unless you are of course Man City, who face West Ham on Sunday afternoon. At home. A West Ham side who were Rooney’d in midweek. Load up and fire. We’re fairly sure the leaders won’t need a last minute Raheem special on the Lord’s Day.
Before that there is of course plenty more. Chelsea kick off our game-week Saturday lunchtime as the Toon come to town. Then there are six 3pm matches. Aside from West Brom and Everton’s matches we have Salahpool travelling to Brighton, Leicester hosting Burnley, struggling Stoke host even more struggling Swansea and Spurs are relieved to leave North London but only get as far as Watford.

The evening fare sees the Bus Driver take on the Specialist in Fire as Man United visit Arsenal.

And then on Sunday before City hammer the Hammers we have a south coast derby as Southampton swim along the shore to Bournemouth.
Loads to get excited about.

  1. Evening all, 48 for me, so not to bad. Thinking Alonso/Silva/Morata out, Kiko/Haz/Jesus in for a -4. Thoughts please.

  2. I do not have a clue as to what to do with this. Tips are welcome got 1 ft and 1.9 million in the bank ..

  3. hey all!

2 FT 0 ITB Wildcard time?

    • I’d use my wildcard turkey.

      • hmmm yeah thats what i am thinking.. hmmm

    • Not long left for you now turkey… #yumyum 😉

As for the WC it doesn’t particularly look like you need to just yet. How much different would it look?

      • i know i cant wait….. christmas dinner the king of roast’s
i feel like i need to get rid of suttner and carrol and daniels maybe?

        • Had one tonight already!

Yeah you probably do but who’s coming in to make it worthwhile?

        • hmmm yeah not sure

          Abraham to DCL
          carroll to… young??!
          suttner to kabaseke

          seems like a waste…

  4. Right, I’m decided on switching to 3-5-2 and bringing in Rambo for RLC and Calvert-Lewin for Wilson. In order to get there I need to switch Azpi to Christensen & get another 0.2 from somewhere, probably Daniels to Zeegelaar.

I have 2 FT, so my original plan was to do Azpi & Wilson to Christensen & Calvert-Lewin this week, and then RLC & Daniels to Rambo & Zeegelaar next week for -4.

I’m now thinking that (if I’m accepting a hit to get there anyway) then why don’t I do RLC, Wilson & Azpi to Rambo, Calvert-Lewin & Zeegelaar now? It’ll save loads in price changes and give me the same result! I know it seems crazy to take a hit with my current team and 2 FT, but isn’t it best in the long run??

    • hey Banjo – if your doing it anyway, might as well do it this week and save the $$$

      • Cheers Dreamers… it seems ludicrous to be taking a hit in my position, but if it’s gonna happen next week anyway then why not pull the trigger now!

        • Hey Banjo,
Given the expected price changes, I think it makes sense to take the hit.

  5. Am I the only thinking of binning Kane??

    • You’re not, I’ve seen plenty of people talking about it, but personally I think it’s crazy talk. He’s scored 3 in his last 4 and has some tasty fixtures coming up. I’m not even considering it.

    • Not in my thinking for another few weeks at least

      • Well I’m struggling to see how I can upgrade my mids with Kane in the team. Any suggestions?

    • Me too as I want Hazard .I have Pogba to move on as well so Kane & Pogba to Hazard & Vardy with both transfers free. Leaves funds to get DCL and upgrade Eliot to a playing GK ,maybe Foster and tfr Begovitch before GW 17 which brings 3 games of death! Maybe Pickford.

      • Like the Kane/Pogba to Haz/Vardy move!

  6. Hey guys. How’s everyone doing? It’s definitely wildcard time for me now. 30 miserable points here. I brought in Hennessy for Speroni for a hit and that ended well. Anyway I’m fed up of Kane and kun for their prices. Could ye take a look at my first draft and tell me what ye think. Cheers guys.

    • hi man u man
Some “form” players but thats probably reflected in their price. Is Hennessey injured now? Dont think Holgate plays unless injuries. I am not sure how nailed Smalling is (worth the risk I guess). I wouldnt have Jesus. Firmino will drive you nuts.

If i was on wc, I’d prob have 5 decent mids. Salah looks missing. DCL allows a lot of options.

      • Replace Holgate with Kenny. Firmino to Vardy or Firmino to someone to afford RLC to Salah

      • Cheers bud. 3-5-2 might be the way to go.

        • I’ve done 3-5-2 for a few weeks now and it’s paid off pretty well.

      • +1 on the Firmino comment. Benn thinking about getting him out for a few weeks, then he gets a brace. Value is too low to straight swap for a top 4 striker as well…

        • OK, may have to change him out so. Cheers for the input.
