Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. And we go again… We were promised ‘thick and fast’ in the weeks ahead, and it’s already starting to feel that way, as we have our 3rd GW begin within the space of 8 days, ‘get used to it’ is all we can offer by way of comfort.
GW16 is a tad Saturday heavy with no less than 8 games. We kick off with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool in the early one prior to five 3pm games. There are then two evening games beginning with a potential cracker as Chelsea welcome the Pep (rotation) machine at 5.30pm before Leicester take on Spurs in a rare Saturday evening treat at 7.45pm.
Sunday only has one game as a result, oddly. This one sees Newcastle play Wolves before Monday finishes us off with Everton at home to Watford.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

my ML rival scored 92 points so far with 8 players with sterling, ederson and laporte to go (if ars – hudds remain 0-0). not only did he steal my top spot, he is ahead by 20 points now and i started the day 27 points behind. no captain salah, laca blanking and not captaining kane, it truly hurts
That’s unreal!! You couldn’t make stuff like this up, FPL is truly incredible… Just need to be patient I feel, I will log off from FPL for a week!
it defo is Led Zepp. i was trailing from behind in gw10 in my ML and had salah brought in to replace hazard. captained him, had mane and ended up with 94. i got back to the top spot then.. 6 weeks later i lost it and its coz i sold salah lol.. ahhh the irony.. salah brought me happiness and he brings me pain

Sometimes you just have to take your hat off and say well played! The Rashford pick is inspired.
But it’s a cruel game – it’s so dependent on luck, and sometimes things will go your way, other times the opposite!!

Exactly eresh! And honestly, I personally have has the most fun on FPL when I’m chasing a rival. There’s nothing like wondering who they’re gonna captain, buy, ect, and it makes the moments when your differencials pay off so much sweeter!! That time will come!

I am lfc eresh! A plastic fan I must add!! My dad is a Villa fan but when I was 5 he showed me Istanbul on a mates dvd and from then on I decided I was a Liverpool fan!! Poor him hahah
+ 1 bob. i have been a fan since 2001 as my sis followed them since late 90’s. fell in love with the style of our play at that time along with stevie g and michael owen. from then onwards i have been a fan for the past 17 years. 2005 was a special night but unforturnately i couldn’t watch that moment live due to a family emergency.
Sorry to hear that mate! When you finally got to watch it back it must’ve been blissful though!! But yeah for me it’s the fans along with the players that make it such a special club. Does feel like it means more. Have you seen the Gerard documentary on Amazon? It’s class, but genuinely hard to watch at times! 2013/14 still hurts!!

Rashford 4-1…. Sadly Martial is not there, would have had at least 1+1 by now….
Martial has been utd’s best player recently, but knowing Mourinho I’m not sure if he will change this winning team for next week!!
I have him too – not sure if I will sell him but I can’t see Mourinho dropping Rashford after today .. if he can get his place back however, with the team making this many chances, Martial will do well.

kane has burnley and salah has manu next week. id keep him zed a little longer lol. salah will be back in gw18 for me.

the only change i was going to do zed was get rid off murray with their fixture list looking doom and gloom. jimenez/rashford/mitro/hernandez are the options i was thinking off.
ill take a hit in 2 weeks time to bring salah somehow back.

Torreira is my saving grace this weekend, as I got him in for Kenedy. Ah, a couple of points to take the pain of a possible 42 pissed up against the wall after selling Mo! Is this ‘The Good Place’, or ‘The Bad Place’??? I haven’t decided – I can just hear the gnashing of teeth & the smell of sulphur & brimstone!
