Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. And we go again… We were promised ‘thick and fast’ in the weeks ahead, and it’s already starting to feel that way, as we have our 3rd GW begin within the space of 8 days, ‘get used to it’ is all we can offer by way of comfort.

GW16 is a tad Saturday heavy with no less than 8 games. We kick off with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool in the early one prior to five 3pm games. There are then two evening games beginning with a potential cracker as Chelsea welcome the Pep (rotation) machine at 5.30pm before Leicester take on Spurs in a rare Saturday evening treat at 7.45pm.

Sunday only has one game as a result, oddly. This one sees Newcastle play Wolves before Monday finishes us off with Everton at home to Watford.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

  4. Averages. And for once little split between the top 10k and the rest. 45/44 from about 7 or 8 played.

    • Thanks. Well short of that so far (35). I had a grim chuckle when I got in to see Lacazette had brought in such a handsome return of points for me. At least Chic worked out for those who brought him in.

      Commiserations to all those who brought in a lot of City players this week but there won’t be many weeks like this. It will even out.

      • I brought in two City but yeah that’ll probably work out more often than not in the future. Did bring Chica too, as a one week punt, he may now be staying for a bit as it transpires.

        • If I were of the knee-jerking kidney of manager I’d probably rage out Lacazette for the Chic. Of course, I thought I’d check him (Chic) out a bit before bringing him in. Hedge my bets.

          But good that he brought home the bacon today for managers.

          The City mids will bring in loads of points. Absolute bankers, in fact, looking at their fixtures.

        • I wasn’t overly convinced myself Kralin but he felt like a decent one week punt in place of Mitro. I guess he’s nailed for a bit now. Big Andy alongside him may be even better, old school big man / little man and all that.

  5. 24 points with just 2 to play. Can anyone better that for a stinker of a week?

    On the plus side, I’m still an incredibly good looking guy and I get to eat a burger for my dinner.

    • One of those things is a fact. One we shall take your word for and is probably true given where you live. The other is…. subjective at best. You do know your picture is on FB?! And in front of my fireplace.

    • I only managed 49 points this week without bonuses to be added.
      Slightly disappointed with my Auba transfer as captain as he only got me 10 points. Son got me 11 points and 3 bonus as part of a 4 ph hit for Hazard, so not sure if I really gained out of it. Oh well, I live and learn. Maybe I should have got Salah instead..lol.

      • Hammer, you are not alone mate. It is just one of those rounds in which the majority had different expectations. As you know from experience, we should expect a few more of those over the Christmas period.

          Damn wish I hadnt benched Azpi. Would have bagged another 8 points. C’est La Vie.
