Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. And we go again… We were promised ‘thick and fast’ in the weeks ahead, and it’s already starting to feel that way, as we have our 3rd GW begin within the space of 8 days, ‘get used to it’ is all we can offer by way of comfort.

GW16 is a tad Saturday heavy with no less than 8 games. We kick off with Bournemouth hosting Liverpool in the early one prior to five 3pm games. There are then two evening games beginning with a potential cracker as Chelsea welcome the Pep (rotation) machine at 5.30pm before Leicester take on Spurs in a rare Saturday evening treat at 7.45pm.

Sunday only has one game as a result, oddly. This one sees Newcastle play Wolves before Monday finishes us off with Everton at home to Watford.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 16 from all at FF247!

Could I get som help please?

I need to get rid of Ryan and Taylor. I only got 1 FT but I can take a hit. Thinking about Leno/? and TAA/Kolasinac/?. I have 11m to spend.

    Thank you.

    Ouch, poor week for me!
Laca and Bilva to Haz and Jimenez now?
    Or save FT?

Willian has been a total let down since I brought him in. 5 game weeks 4 starts zero goals or assists for 10 points. Thinking of swapping to Felipe Anderson. Or should I swap Dunk now Brighton’s Fixtures turn. I have the money to do Dunk to Kolasinac.

Well the dust has settled on a very bad game week, for those like me who ditched Salah what are your thoughts going forward? I’m inclined to do nothing this week and save the FT and then work with 2FT to decide weather to bring him back.
Trying to stay cool despite my plummet in rank, I know I’m not alone here!

Take it on the chin this week confident that my team looks decent going forward and save my transfer. Then watch another 40 pointer roll in next week….

Probably wise. My thoughts going forward are I think I want Kane because of the fixtures, I like Salah think this hatty was well over due (did it come because Mane was not playing though). And one of Sterling/Aguero. Liverpool and City are the best teams and Kane has the best long term fixtures. Hazard seems to have stopped scoring goals which is a concern. I have fears over Sane because Mahrez is there. We know Sterling is number one. Jesus not playing at Chelsea kind of shows Aguero is number one. That leaves the Arsenal forwards just can’t fit them in. Just think Arsenal are a worse team than the other five.

Hey Rosco! Like you, I transferred Salah out a couple of game weeks ago to put the money elsewhere and have a better balance! I brought Auba and Mane with the latter managing 1 point in two games! I was considering Mane and Hazard back to Salah and Son but think I want to keep Haz for the time being! I could do Mane and Alonso to Salah and Dunk but again not sure if it’s a good move!

      Save it.

After Tue/Wed CL games, the “sky will be clearer”.
TOT has no chance of going through as i don’t believe they will beat Barca at Camp Nou.
Inter will deffo win their game against PSV (only a miracle can stop them).

Liv needs to beat Napoli 1-0 or with a different score but by a 2 goal margin.
Big Carlo won’t defend 90 mins as he knows LIV can score 1 blindfolded, so once they do Napoli will have to attack.
Personally, even if LIV go through I don’t really fancy their chances this year in CL.
Actually, the sooner they get out of the Cl – the better chances for them to try and (finally) win the PL this year.

On the other hand, City is facing a far bigger pressure re: CL as they have invested heavily many years and still got nothing out of it in CL.
Although already being qualified for the next round, they will go into the Hoffenheim game with great seriousness.

My point is – this year CL is a bigger objective for City than it is for LIV. (coming from a Pool fan).
I even think it is even better for them to not go through if they are serious about winning the PL. (also coming from a Pool fan).

I am in the same boat as I have sold him to enable the PEA transfer.
I have Kane & PEA now, but thinking forward – > I have a gut feeling Mo & Kane will be the must haves for December as well as for the rest of the season.

So, saving the FT and getting Salah back in 2weeks time I think is the main priority for me as well.
Having spent a lot of hrs brainstorming the possible scenarios, going forward I feel there is no other logical solution.

      Just my 2cents.

You certainly aren’t! Salah and Robbo out this week on my WC was a tough pill to swallow! I usually don’t make a transfer after a WC barring injuries. I’m a bit concerned about why Lacazette was pulled at HT though, seemingly without injury.

      Rosco says:

Some great feedback there guys thank you! Yes I think I’ve been a slap dash of late so some much needed reflection is in order!
I can easily bring Salah back with 2FT so just going to roll the transfer and take my finger off that button till I have them!

What would be the better replacement for D. Silva?
Bilva or Son? Only 0.4 ITB.

Rumours Jimenez is being rotated today
