Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. Last week the author of this short article waxed lyrical about the return of βThe Lordβ and Big Sam. Unfortunately we have no returning greats this week but we doubt you could top those two numpties anyway.
Chelsea, yet again, kick off our game-week at lunchtime on Saturday as they visit a West Ham side who have not been revitalised by their new manager. Hardly surprising as it is David Moyes.
3pm on Saturday afternoon brings us five more games. None of which are likely to set pulses racing. Marco βyouβre not as good as Big Samβ Silva brings his Watford side to Burnley. Crystal Palace who are unbeaten in their last four at home welcome Bournemouth. Newbies Huddersfield & Brighton face each other at the John Smiths Stadium. Spurs face Stoke as Harry Kane battles to save his FPL career. And a team who recently sacked Tony Pulis face a team who will soon appoint Tony Pulis as Swansea host West Brom.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as a Newcastle team in freefall welcome Leicester City.
For once, Sunday actually is a Super Sunday! At lunchtime Arsenal travel down to Southampton for a game that is nothing but an appetiser for whatβs to come. At 2:15pm Liverpool and Everton meet for the 229th time. Recent history certainly favours the red side of Merseyside but Big Sam is likely to have his side fired up for the encounter. The main course arrives at 4:30pm in the shape of the Manchester derby as 2nd hosts 1st. Letβs hope this is more like last weekβs game between United and Arsenal rather than the recent Liverpool v United game. Whatever the outcome Jose will surely have something to moan about.

Howdy y’all. 1FT 0.2ITB
A. Elliot -> Speroni
B. Fabianski -> Pope
Fabianski
Jones Otamendi Monreal
D.Silva Hazard Salah Richarlison
DCL Kane Vardy
Elliot Mee T.Carroll Daniels
No. By all means swap one keeper round but there’s no point taking a hit to change both in the same GW
Elliott should get the gloves back for the next game.Saves me a transfer!
I wish that!
Same. At this point I think I’ll just play Fabs versus city. Hope he makes a billion saves. And just conceded 3 goals.
City could ship 4+
I see the defensive problems continue.
Amazing rank TGP.
Think I’m gonna do Daniel’s to Kenny and Callum Wilson to Firmino with my two transfers….
Massive win for the mighty Terriers today and it could have been 5-0 ! We had plenty of chances unfortunately most of them fell to Ince !
A word about Brighton.When the second goal went in you could see the confidence had gone and by the end of the game they looked totally shot and a few of their players looked exhausted.Think the fixture schedule may start to catch up with them.
UTT !
Well done Brooky. You beat me today despite giving me a 4 point head start.
What’s your take on Quaner? 4.5m for a striker sounds good.
Was about to ask about the striker situation actually Horse. FotMob shows this, how accurate is that Brooky? And is it likely to continue?
Are you hijacking my post Initt?
More of an addendum
Hey Innit,yeah thats pretty much how we set up today though Kachunga spent most of the first half quite central.As i mentioned to Horse there will be rotation across that front 4 especially over the busy festive period.
Hey Horse cheers,yeah our front 6 is starting to look a bit template aint it ? Yeah 4.5m is great for a striker as long as you dont expect much from him and accept he will be rotated.He played well today though,just the final shot or pass a little bit lacking.Guess he will be rotated with Vlp going forward now he is back from suspension.
That’s good to know. I plan to put him on the bench but if he can come on a give me 2 points when called upon that’s fine. Does he get forward much and look threatening ? I know he scored an assist in GW1. I had him in my team then too
Yeah he actually looked good today,playing out on the left wing,got into the box a lot,just as i said his final shot or pass let him down.I dont think id expect much more than 2 points from him though ! π
38(-4) and 3 to play
