Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. Last week the author of this short article waxed lyrical about the return of ‘The Lord’ and Big Sam. Unfortunately we have no returning greats this week but we doubt you could top those two numpties anyway.
Chelsea, yet again, kick off our game-week at lunchtime on Saturday as they visit a West Ham side who have not been revitalised by their new manager. Hardly surprising as it is David Moyes.
3pm on Saturday afternoon brings us five more games. None of which are likely to set pulses racing. Marco ‘you’re not as good as Big Sam’ Silva brings his Watford side to Burnley. Crystal Palace who are unbeaten in their last four at home welcome Bournemouth. Newbies Huddersfield & Brighton face each other at the John Smiths Stadium. Spurs face Stoke as Harry Kane battles to save his FPL career. And a team who recently sacked Tony Pulis face a team who will soon appoint Tony Pulis as Swansea host West Brom.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as a Newcastle team in freefall welcome Leicester City.
For once, Sunday actually is a Super Sunday! At lunchtime Arsenal travel down to Southampton for a game that is nothing but an appetiser for what’s to come. At 2:15pm Liverpool and Everton meet for the 229th time. Recent history certainly favours the red side of Merseyside but Big Sam is likely to have his side fired up for the encounter. The main course arrives at 4:30pm in the shape of the Manchester derby as 2nd hosts 1st. Let’s hope this is more like last week’s game between United and Arsenal rather than the recent Liverpool v United game. Whatever the outcome Jose will surely have something to moan about.

Don’t know if anyone else listens to it, I know GP does, but the bet of the week of The Football Ramble piqued my interest this week – 17/1 on a double for two draws tomorrow in the derbies. I’m not a betting man generally – I bet on the Grand National, usually just because I go, and then only on Race Days when I get dragged there on a corporate job with work. But I fancy this one. All buses accounted for. Pays for half of the Christmas ridiculouslness if it comes in

I took a 4 point hit this week, taking out Kane and getting hazard. Needless to say that didnt work out too well…. potentially on for my worst week ever!

Kudos for posting the dam thing if nothing else! That’s crap luck mate. It’s a good squad though, I’d probably play Gomez over DCL though. If we think he starts.
