Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. This is our last ‘normal gameweek’ for a while; one that is separated by about a week anyway, without other ones following on in quick succession. The 4 gameweeks which follow this will be condensed into 14 days. And you thought rotation was bad last week?! This one may be more normal, or so you’d think…
We begin with Man City looking to respond to a rare defeat at home to Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by five 3pm games; Palace look for a rare home win against Leicester, Huddersfield vs Newcastle promises to be a thriller *sighs, Spurs will be hoping Burnley haven’t quite found the eye of the tiger just yet, whilst Watford and Wolves will both be hoping to return to their early season form against Cardiff and Bournemouth.
Fulham will look to bounce back after their embarrassing Old Trafford mauling against a resurgent West Ham in the Saturday evening game.
Sunday begins with two games at 1.30pm with Brighton hosting Chelsea and Saints welcoming Arsenal before our gameweek ends at 4pm with Liverpool’s annual Cup Final that is Man United.
The games in full…

Welcome to our Fantasy Football leagues section.
The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
TAA to Kolasinac, Lovren or Digne?
How long will TAA be out for? Annoyingly I just got him in for Gomez. Kola would be my pick if TAA isnt back soon.

58(-4) with Alonso and Hazard still to play. Should stay in the top 50k if Pool concede and Arsenal are kept quiet with 2 goals. Hazard getting a goal with Alonso assist would be best. 110k to 40k jump looks fine for now. #hitsaregood
Seems very reasonable that Constantine. Hoping Chelsea win nice and easily for you today (well so long as there is involvement from your two lads).
Hits are good. This week at least 😉
Cheers GP. You’ve got good score too this week. Am thinking of doing Wilson to Aguero without a hit. Have the exact money to do that. Recommended?
Generally speaking, yes.
Yeah I’d be happy enough with that score
Think I saw a stat on Kane. 6 open play goals this season which is the same as Lukaku and Morata. Think it’s the fear of not owning Kane
Have just posted about why I’m (probably) keeping Kane. The Xmas nailedness is something to bear in mind.
But I appreciate why people – given the choice, this year – want to get rid. And Auba and Kun are better value.
I may bring Kun in but am likely to wait until I’m certain he’s firing on all cylinders.
Yeah I’m not sure what I want to do. My thinking is I can squeeze another premium so have Auba/Aguero, Hazard, Salah and Sane/KDB. I can’t see Kane doing much at Everton but then it’s Bournemouth at home. I might look at a switch and then wildcard him out last possible week. Christmas nailed is why I got him back in first place over City assets and fixtures cast doubts about selling him
Morning all! Hope all having good GW!
On a measly 32pts atm but got Robbo, Alonso, Hazard and captain Auba left to hopefully bump me up a bit! Looking ahead to next week already ….any thoughts on what should be done with this team? One decision I’m trying to make is Sterling and Hazard or Sane and Salah?!? Fixtures lean towards keeping Hazard while form says Salah!?
Have also been trying to get Son in for Hojbjerg and dropping a forward to do so but always seem to be 0.1 short :/
Got 0.5 itb and 1ft
The Sterling and Hazard double-act is fine. You can’t have ’em all. Your team looks fine. Keep a cool head.
If you want to ditch a forward get Kamara if he’s playing and do it that way. See Kamara (or Success, or whoever) as an enabler rather than someone who’s going to bring you tons of points. I think Kamara is starting to get 90 mins now, so not a terrible option.
Yes, Kamara’s a better option than Success whose gametime looks to me like it’ll be limited
Its a nice team.I’m not sure on the Mitro love everywhere,i know Fulham have decent fixtures but they are still poor and his form hasnt been great.
Fulham were pretty poor last night and he in particular looked like a beaten man come the second half. He also holds all the cards in the ‘Boxing Day Off’ self planner scenario.
Yeah I’m going off Mitro. Stood by him but Fulham are so poor
Brighton v Chelsea
Wouldn’t let me reply on the Arsenal one, think we should get rid of lacazette Adam?, clearly Emery don’t trust him starting
