Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. This is our last ‘normal gameweek’ for a while; one that is separated by about a week anyway, without other ones following on in quick succession. The 4 gameweeks which follow this will be condensed into 14 days. And you thought rotation was bad last week?! This one may be more normal, or so you’d think…
We begin with Man City looking to respond to a rare defeat at home to Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by five 3pm games; Palace look for a rare home win against Leicester, Huddersfield vs Newcastle promises to be a thriller *sighs, Spurs will be hoping Burnley haven’t quite found the eye of the tiger just yet, whilst Watford and Wolves will both be hoping to return to their early season form against Cardiff and Bournemouth.
Fulham will look to bounce back after their embarrassing Old Trafford mauling against a resurgent West Ham in the Saturday evening game.
Sunday begins with two games at 1.30pm with Brighton hosting Chelsea and Saints welcoming Arsenal before our gameweek ends at 4pm with Liverpool’s annual Cup Final that is Man United.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Any ideas with my lot. I’ve been going well recently. One free transfer and 0.1 in the bank. So only looking at short term stuff really. Think I’ll play wildcard in last possible week so 2 game weeks time. I want Kane for that Bournemouth game I think and then he will be gone on wildcard.

Looks grand for this week, keep the FT as it stands right now. Few midweek games there that could perhaps change that though.

Lovren will be a starter for a while now. Gomez and Matip out for ages and might not get back in if Lovren does alright

In a bit of a dilemma in terms of TAA his price is dropping tonight and was thinking of doing a swap to get Digne as his price is going up. (Would prefer not to have any loss in team value)
Alternatively I have been thinking of doing a -8, to get rid of Alonso, TTA & Kane;
A) Alonso-Kane-Bacuna–Digne,Sterling,Wilson (0IB) (-8)
B) Laporte-TAA-Quaner–Digne, AWB, Wilson (0IB) (-8)
C) Kane-TAA-Bacuna–Digne, Hazzard, Jimenez (0.5I) (-8)
Any other advice would be appreciated.
Maybe I am just going a bit nuts with the -8 options.

Certainly no need for any minus eight, and i wouldn’t rush transfers because of team value when there are midweek games. Sit tight, and if TAA is still out and no other crisis looms do the Digne change.
Am I just over reacting with the value of a playin going down by .01? I mean I got PEA and Kane in just before there boom in price and got huge boost in value that I could swap them over for later if I wanted to.
A £0.1m loss is annoying, but not half as annoying as needing to take a hit because you made an early transfer then somebody got injured in a midweek game. If price changes mean you won’t be able to afford a transfer it’s sometimes worth the risk, but not just to save money when you can afford to wait a few days.
Bellarin is out for a few weeks, Is Hazard injury serious?
Looks minor, if indeed anything at all.
